-Det, the crazed lord commander of shiny things.

It took me weeks and weeks to meet up with Detriment, but the delay worked out in one big way: he's the first person on the Runway to get the benefit of my spiffy new graphics card! I am still amazed at how gorgeous the game is in 3D! Look at that sky, that face, that armor, that cool glow from the Ravenous Sword, the smoldering and the stinging! I must have taken a gajillion screen shots of Detriment as we did the Runway shoot.

In-game, Detriment is what some might call a d00d! He was even tied to the Subway in Arwic. After we met up, he tried to shock me with his bad-ass self: 

He also shared a book with me that he and some of his buddies pass around and contribute to when the mood strikes. I read through a bit of it, but can't offer any of it here. It certainly wasn't suited to a general audience. He's right! He's a total sicko!!! ;-)

I think that spelling correction gave his game away: the tough guy persona is all an act. :) We finished up the pics with one of his Aerlinthe T-shirt. I've been wanting to get a nice shot of the volcano depicted on the front.
