| Apparel | Maddy is
another player I had the pleasure of meeting at the player gathering in
Boston, along with a few of her vassals, Mortor and Alissa. They've all
been playing together since Beta! Recently, Maddy wrote to me and sent me
a picture of her new designer wear, a pink shirt from her vassal Anaboo's
(of ACEDL fame) fall collection. The timing was perfect, since Maddy turn
was up for the Runway.
We met in Cragstone, because that's where I could get to alive! :) The weather was a little grey and dismal, so we decided to take advantage of the ominous cast to the sky and do some of the initial pics in front of the Broken Spire. It was a great backdrop for her silver suit and composite Crossbow.
As Maddy posed with her different quest weapons, including an Atlan Sword and Hollow Katar, we decided that we should probably head indoors to finish the pics. The graphics effects on the Hollow Weapons are so cool that we wanted to make sure they could be clearly seen. We headed up the hill and took shelter in a nearby windmill. I was a little nervous, since the windmill still appeared to be smoldering from the recent events in Cragstone, but it turned out to be safe enough. Above, Maddy is posing with the Katar in her Suikan Item Master Robe. The purple robe below is the Life Robe, and the other picture is the dyed designer shirt I mentioned. It's quite striking with a slim pair of white pants and her green eyes. She says she often will play the Life Mage from her group, imperiling creatures, just like my vassal Ned Cleversun does for me. We also discussed our shared pleasure in looting our kills. Ned is always hurrying me along, chiding me about getting overburdened, but I can't resist! I've only recently been able to make myself leave AL: 10 bucklers at the scene. :) Maddy and her gang still do the "A mote! Woot!" cheer as well. Right now, her allegiance is loosely based out of Baishi. A favorite hunting ground is the Obsidian Plains in the Dires, where she especially likes hunting Altered Drudges and Umbris Shadows.
I asked her a little bit more about her allegiance and a few of her vassals, Anaboo and eleria. I was hoping we could have done a group shoot, but the others were busy at the time. Another day! Maddy then offered me an Official ACEDL (Asheron's Call Environmental Defense League) membership hat, but I was worried it would burst into flames if I put it on my head! I admitted to being a cold blooded killer who had slaughtered many a bunny in my early days in Dereth. And not for food! I even admitted to participating in the Buff the Bunny campaign. Out of respect for Maddy and her vassals, I said I would attempt to mend my ways. Of course since our recent meeting, the ACEDL has revised its position on the Buff the Bunny campaign, so I guess I am off the hook! As always, I asked her if there was anything in particular she'd like me to say about hee. She responded, no, not really, only that she just tries to have fun and enjoys helping others have fun, too. I guess that pretty well sums it up for most of us! Thanks for posing Maddy! It was a pleasure meeting you in-game!
