| Apparel | Due to the generosity of
Vilegoroth, Maggie the Jackcat now sports the sexiest, most gorgeous leggings on the
server!! I love them so much, I just had to show them off to everyone! So here I am,
finally, up on the Runway. I know there's lots more pics than usual, but... well, it's my
website! Hahaha.
When Vilegoroth and I were online at the same time one evening, he mentioned that he still had that spare Matty Coat if I needed it. He casually remarked that if Ned Cleversun was all set, maybe I'd like it for myself. Hoping that I wouldn't appear like a greedy pig if I said yes, I said, "Yes!" Vilegoroth insisted it was nothing; he had outgrown it. Then he said that if I liked, he probably had a few more items muled I could have. This was the understatement of the year!
He brought his mule to Zaikhal to meet me and handed me, just like that, a gorgeous fur coat! Then... he dropped these absolutely magnificent purple colored gold yoroi leggings on me! Check them out! Have you ever seen such beautiful leggings?! He agreed that they were quite nice, but insisted they weren't his style. He remembered I liked purple from my site. He had a purple hat I could have also. Would I like it? I (greedy pig) said yes. Maggie the Jackcat now has her own Olthoi Helm! The picture to the left is my old look. I'm in my Gold Scale Shirt (gift from Tear) and my Gold Kabuton (gift from Minerva of Moom.) To the right is me currently, holding my new sword and the shield that Odo gave me, plus my new gear. I look great, don't I?! Vilegoroth is also a Swordsman. Would I like a new sword, he asked? He had some extras muled and didn't believe in hoarding. My current Tachi was a Valentine gift from my vassal Ned Cleversun. I really like it, not only for the BD III it casts, but also for sentimental reasons. However, I rationalized, everyone should have a spare weapon. Or two. Or three. I said nonchalantly, sure, I'd be interested. Vilegoroth started pulling out one magificent sword after another. He said I could pick three to keep. I practically swooned. I surreptitiously wiped my chin, afraid I might be drooling. It was like Christmas with an uber Santa sack!! I decided to put aside all qualms about my greed and just reveled in the riches being displayed before me. I chose my three new weapons -- an Ivory Tachi, a Tourmaline Simi, and a pretty Lavender Jade Long Sword that went perfectly with my new outfit! I tried out the Ivory Tachi with my new coat and my old leggings and white go-go boots. I thought it was a nice look; grey has always suited me! Then, just for fun, I pulled together that clashing ensemble. The staff was a gift from Ned to help me with my portalling skills. I bought the hat at the store; I couldn't resist it. Everytime I put it on, though, people around me say, "My eyes! My eyes!"
Wait! There's more! More, you say? More than fabulous new leggings, Olhoi-wear and weapons galore? Yes. More. Vilegoroth said that if I met him in Qalaba'r, he might have additional stuff for me. He wouldn't say what. Curious (and greedy!!), I made the trip and met another of his characters. As I was standing there, I received two Pyreal Bars and a Shadow Fragment!! And some purple leather boots he saw in the store. I am the luckiest purple legged chick on Thistledown!!
Later in the week I @telled Vilegoroth with more effusive thanks, telling him how much I was enjoying my new stuff. For the first time, I was soloing liches! He said he was glad I liked everything; he likes my site and likes my charisma. He also said that he had picked up some purple leather gloves -- no magic, but the same nice color -- when he saw them for sale, just in case I wanted them to complete the look. I said I absolutely couldn't accept another thing from him (big fat lie), but he insisted. In addition to the gloves, he quickly dropped a few more pieces of loot on me and logged out before I could even say thank you: an ash gromnie tooth and a Wand of Black Fire. can you tell? (I just want to let people know that I earned one of those motes myself!)
It's just so thrilling to me to have cool, nifty, rare stuff of my own. For so long, my
packs were sad little containers of this and that -- hunks of cheese, studded leather,
Iron Khanjars, spell components. Now they're just stuffed full of COOL STUFF. I just like
to look at them! Thanks once again Vilegoroth, for making the game even more fun than it
was already! (I am so stylish!!)
