I adore the Apparel section, as your screenshots are incredible! I never knew the armor had so much texture and
vibrancy to it. See, my computer is kind of old and I *must* be missing out on
a lot because my game doesn't come
close to looking like those beautiful shots! So, I wanted to ask you a favor / offer my services. I see you have neglected the underdog of fashion: greaves. I am, of course, the "Greave Queen!" So I wondered if you'd like to snap a couple shots of me in some of my outfits as a greave wearing beauty. I admit I have an ulterior motive here...I want to see what I actually *look* like. I am Gharu, and my face just looks like a dark brown blob on the screen to me. (I can barely see my eyes, do I have a mouth?) I want to see what my armor *really* looks like." - Zenk, Thistledown
Here she is! Zenk, the "Greave Queen" herself! Zenk not only has lovely deep red lips, but she also has dark olive green eyes. I told her she would be glad to know that not only is her face not a blob, but she is also very good-looking! Here's one more close-up shot:
In addition to great looks, she also has the skills of a highly trained warrior. Zenk fights with everything but a sword. I took pictures of her posing with a few of her Atlan Weapons, including the staff she calls her "Dainty Beater," incribed "Staff of RAID... kills bugs dead." And at Level 55, she has accumulated some very fancy greaves, indeed. She says that she likes wearing greaves because the Gharun'dim have such nice legs. Plus, (shhh. it's a secret!) Olthoi don't hit the upper legs! (I am not prepared to test this myself, however. :)
Zenk knew how much I liked purple. In addition to her gold, purple and blue greaves outfits, she also included showing me her fancy Amuli suit. It's super nice. And isn't the Koujia breastplate to the right great? It's too bad it was overcast; the purple accents are vibrant!
The blue set below, she says, wasn't originally a greaves outfit. It became one when her vassal needed the leggings! Those Yoroi girths double fabulously as a miniskirt when paired with greaves! The last outfit picture she calls her bathing suit. I told her she should contact the ACEDL and pose for their swimsuit calendar as well. She's right; the Gharun'dim do have nice legs!
We had an absolutely splendid time chatting as I took the pics. We reminisced about another online game we both used to play. "I will take thee! I will take thee!" I shouted in glee! "Connection Lost. You have died." She shot back at me. Arrggghhh. The memories! We both agreed that for many reasons, too numerous to mention, that AC was just a lot more fun. Any time I even begin to get irritated about any sort of game issue, I just remember how it used to be and I am deeply grateful for my good luck to now be playing AC! Zenk left her previous game much more dramatically than I did when I departed. Her character got married in-game on her last day of play. Then... they killed all the wedding guests!! Hahaha. I laughed and laughed as she was telling me. She may look like a babe-ish greaves wearing bathing beauty, but she's really a highly skilled and dangerous killer! After all, she's level 55 and isn't an Archer or a Mage. ;-) Thanks for posing, Zenk! You look great!
