Attack on Eastham! (June 3, 2005)

There was an attack on Eastham tonight. These are some screen shots. At one point there were 3 Tremendous Monougas! The attack started out with some low level Lugies then a boat load of VOD lugies with a sprinkle of Tremendous Manougas.

Heys Maggie, mxlplkt mxl of Thistledown here, proud follower of Nanny I. Well, once again I was out killing Lugies, with my lightning atlatl buffed and lots of lightning arrows in tow, when I saw the global that Cragstone was being attacked!!! Banderlings are climbing the cliffs of Cragstone!!!!.... That was all I needed to know. So I went and created a fellowship named, "it's death," and wow... this was one tough bunch of Banderlings!! Savages, Heirophants, Champions, Aggressors,... lots I mean... like someone jabbed a stick in an anthill!!! I didn't get to stay until all died, but I did see the victory global as I was logging. Here's my screenshot.... I died.
 

Rithwic Assault (June 17, 2005)

Dark ascendance of SC sends this report of an attack on Rithwic: Saw "Citizens, strange stompings can be heard from the waters edge at Rithwic" as a global and went to Rithwic to check it out. First, only Platinum golems... then... everything was dropped on us. Suzerains(sp), Tremendous Monugas(sp), Oblits, Elementals. Was great fun but, as always, the heroes of Dereth were victorious! Thanks for a great site!

Eater Attacks HG! (June 19, 2005)

A report from Bluebird's Foundling of HG: "Just thought I would show you what happened when a dev took over a monster. The thing healed itself from near death and JUMPED out of a group of about 100-150 people. It was fun!"

A second report comes from Fatal Flaw of HG:

Hello Maggie, long time 4 year reader. :) This event happened Sunday June 19th, when a Repugnant Eater *dev controlled we think* started attacking Eastham. Quickly the allegiance of Softness and many other allegiances mounted an offensive within literally seconds, and after just a couple of minutes, 50+ people were surrounding him. Was very tough to kill as when we tried to pin him he would ?jump? over our heads lol. Had an insane run skill that not even max level people could keep up with and when he was at 50% health he bolted toward Arwic. I opened a portal to the subway and alot of people quickly piled in to hit the Arwic portal and intercept him, and sure enough he comes barreling past us like I can only describe as a blur. With the Eater jumping over the Arwic walls and such and giving us a real hard time to pursue, we finally surrounded him once and for all and after several minutes of fighting finally slayed the beast. I cannot remember who got the kill, but it was well deserved as this one was not easy to bring down. I would like to point out that it was an archer *cough* we rule *cough* lol.
