Skill Credit Refunds!
"When I logged on this morning I found the latest update was in place.
I downloaded it and got a message that the cost of alchemy and missile
defense had both been reduces by two points and I was refunded 4 skill
credits! I had been figuring I would never be able to get certain skills
since I would max out before I got enough credits, but now I get NEW toys!

Deadly Arrows!
Here are the steps and pics for deadly arrows:
First create greater arrowheads.
Then use alembic on stibnite to create a bloodhunter infusion.
Then use infusion on aqua incanta to create bloodhunter oil.
Then use the oil on any greater arrowheads to make them deady.
Then use the deady arrowheads on shafts.
It appeared to be easier to create deadly arrows than it is to make
greaters.

The Magemerlin Allegiance-FF reports that stats on all elemental blunt and
regular arrows are 19-26 damage, Frog Crotch do 24-30 damage, and
also sends this further comment:
"Maggie, a HUGE P.S. to the preceding email.
The bloodhunter oil, can only
be applied to greater heads, not to regular ones. I.E., it will not let
you
use a concentrated bloodhunter oil on a wrapped bundle of blunt heads, you
would have to use a wrapped bundle of greater blunts, and so on."
Leg O'Lam of LC adds the following:
"For the fun part... trying them out! The arrows seem to do approximate
double the damage of "conventional" greater arrows. I tried them out on a
convenient bandie striker (which I usually hit for 24-30 points with
buffs) and the arrows consistently hit for 50-58 points with one crit of
108 without any buffs on my composite bow. They had the same effect on a
trio of olthoi workers too. I can hardly wait to make up a few wrapped
bundles of these to go hunting with tonight!"

Mage Nesfe of FF reports the
following:
"I found a new golem. It's a Crystal Golem. I found it in the Direlands.
This golem buffs up completly agaisnt mages; it's a warrior golem. I vuln
and war him in 7's and I hit him for 7 pts of damage maximum in all
different elements. It keeps buffing its prots, so I put myself on warrior
mode and killed him."

Quiddity Weapons Return!
"Got some SS of
my new friend Dranith :) the level 999
Hollow. He is in the
last dungeon for quiddity ingot quest, just
after the room with the troves. I had the
privilege of being the first one killed by drannith on WE, and with 3
death to him, I may
also be the person who died the most to buddy Dran' :D
(as a warning he killed me in 2 hits, then 4 hits, then 1 hit.
I don't wear a robe, and I
had a diamond shield on.)"
Whu of WE BTW
Dranith Menacet is not level
999, he is level 216.
Just by trying to cast a few spells on him,
he levels up to 999. If you leave and come back he resets to 216.

Agent of the Arcanum
Message!
[correction - no change from previous month]
Agent of the Arcanum
tells you, "Hail! The Arcanum has asked us to inform all adventurers of an
undertaking that you may perform to obtain Writs of Refuge. However, these
places are not without their dangers and should not be ventured into
alone. We have found large cisterns fueling the magical Essences of Dereth,
but something deep within these furnaces is hindering the flow of mana."
Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "Go there, find a means to collect proof
that you have assisted in the clearing of this stopgap, and return to any
Arcanum Agent with the proof to receive your reward."
Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "I am also still providing Writs of Refuge
in exchange for any of the various items that we have collected in the
past: Diamond Powder, Nuhmudira's Token, and Quality and Regular Ingots.
Our focus is on the war to come, and we are sure that these items will
help."
Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "Once you possess the Writ of Refuge, then
you have satisfied the main requirements for acquiring a home. The
Covenant Crystals also require money and other minor items, but those
items should not be in short supply. Enjoy your homestead and Good Luck!"
