How long have you been playing AC?

I was accepted into Beta AC, however I was never able to successfully download the game. I finally got the game on Christmas ’99, so I have been playing for over four years now.

How familiar are you with the lore?

Overall, I would like to think I am moderately versed in the Lore. However, I have only started getting into the Lore aspect of the game about 6 months ago, give or take. Since then, I have been trying to keep up on everything.

Did you know the back story behind Antius and his role in previous Dereth events?

A little. I remember him back during the Olthoi story arch, especially around the time of the acid being introduced into the game.

Are you in a monarchy?

Yes I am. I am currently in the Meginjarder monarchy under Aka-hung. I am a Magistrate and the Lead Quest Master for the guild.

Who did you do the Blackmire quest with?

I know I am forgetting one person. We had a full fellowship. If someone could be kind enough to help me figure this out, it would be greatly appreciated.

What did you think of the quest when you went through it the first time?

It was amazing and terrifying. The entire quest and how it works with only a fellow was unbelievable. Terrifying, because I was the first one that took the debuffs from the eyes. Seeing all my stats drop by 99% gave me a bit of a heart attack, luckily the rest of my group kept the boss off of me. At the end, the other strange devices draining life from me, I thought that was weird, but didn’t think much about it; I was still amazed at the quest and the rewards.

Did you realize anything special had happened?

Nope. I had absolutely no clue what was going on.

How did you find out that Antius was looking for you?

I was currently buffing at Fort Tethena with my noob mage. I was planning to head to the Tusker Pits for an uneventful night of leveling. While I was buffing, I alt-tabbed out of the game to read the VN boards. When I came back, I decided to scroll up and see if I missed anything important in the allegiance chat. Normally I just check for any @tells that came my way. In the allegiance chat, Ax’Sassin was looking for me, asking me to @tell him asap, because it was important. Ax told me some weird guy, with a weird name, in weird armor was looking for me. He gave me the name without knowing who this Antius Blackmoor was. At first, I did not remember the name and though it was someone asking if I could help lead a Blackmire Quest. So I contacted him, in which he informed me to get on Rage Lao. So I did. 

The story said you were asleep. How did you come to meet with him in the Arwic tavern?

I originally asked him to meet in the Marketplace, at that point he came across with a tell like (OOC:…) basically saying he wanted someplace more quiet. At first, I didn’t realize was OOC meant( it means Out of Character, just for future reference if you didn’t know ;) ). When I got there, I started to put 2 and 2 together and it turned on like a light bulb.

Did you two order anything or just sit and talk?

We just sat and talked, because it was very important.

Antius Blackmoor told you, "Don't balme yourself, there is no way that you could have know Lao." If more creatures arrive and wreak havoc of Dereth, will you blame yourself?

No, I will just laugh at the masses that get slaughtered.

Do you have any ideas about who or what The Sleeping One may be?

I have a few ideas, I am thinking possible the Gromantress (spelling?). However, I really have no clue. 

How do you feel about being a part of Dereth Lore? After all, the High Queen knows who you personally are.

I think it is a great honor. Hopefully I get to sit in on some future counsel meetings or something.

On the boards Orion said, "Who says that Rage Lao's responses didn't in some way impact the future of this story arc?" What do you think about the possibility that you've influenced the story line?

*gulps* Wow, I missed that post somewhere along the line. If I ended up bringing doom to Dereth, well, please don’t kill me. However, if I saved it, praise me as a king. Several hundred plats would be a very nice start.

Did Antius tell you how we could get a set of that leet armor he's wearing? ;-)

I knew I forgot to ask him something. *smacks head* Oh well, hopefully someone else will remember to ask him that.
