It was noted that 350 got 6 from Utterly Flawless.

My vassal Fizzle Fest was getting 7 from Utterly Flawless with 385. We were basically getting 1 less than the designated number for that quality. We salvaged Nearly Flawless and up. On batches of 3 or 4 items at a time we we got -1 to +2 for what we should have gotten for those items. So there appears to be a varience on what you get based on skill.

Dranith Menacet is Killed!
Town crier gave me a rumor that gave me the idea to go see if anything about Dranith Menacet in the Convergent Median had changed and much to my surprise, he was a fraction of his original size! I was unable to do any damage to him until I vulned and imped him with 7's. Even then I was hitting for 5-10's. He clipped me pretty hard several times while I had my orb on to debuff him, the worst being a hit for 94 damage. The door behind him was also changed. It had become just a regular door and I could find nothing behind it but an empty hall. Also, there was nothing on Dranith's corpse.

-Kyuuketsuki Arashi of F
F

[Player's name] has slain Dranith Menacet. As the Hollow Minion bleeds its last bit of life onto the ground, it calls to its farther in a child-like voice. "Father, I have failed you. They will find the way to your home." In Rithwic, a new portal appears.
Dranith Menacet says, "Father...Father... My body crumbles to dust, am I forgotten. I am dead. I am sorry father I have failed you and will rise no longer."

*****

Julian's Touch account from TD:
I got a report FrostFell server killed Dranith Menacet, so I rushed to the end of the Quiddity Dungeon, the 3rd one with the Sing troves with Quiddity ingots inside.

I went down after the door, to the place with Dranith. My 6th sense sensed it, then he came in my sight, and I saw a little Dranith!

At first I was afraid, I hid, and tried to cast on it. He was level 391. I landed a Vuln II on him with 300 in creature magic skills. So I took my buffed Frost Yaoji, and I started to attack him... hitting him for 0-0...0-0.....0-2......2-2...0-2 damage ...

While I was caressing him, and evading his attacks, I saw a white dot on a radar, it was Tridarian. He imperiled and cold vulned Dranith, so I was now hitting him for 5 average, 14 in crits, and still some hits at 0.

Now with Dranith at 45% I was hitting him back for 0-2 so I asked another round of debuff, and Tridarian managed to debuff him again while fighting some elementals...

25%...

I received tons of messages after the server broadcast, both grats and wondering, I agree it was very quick after the patch. Dranith Menacet didn't drop anything special, it just opened the portal to Martine's place.

Great thnx to Tridarian who helped me killed Dranith, and for letting me having the kill.

Hey Maggie.

I
and others have noticed that the Shimmering Isparian Bows (not tested on other classes) are doing the NORMAL damage to the elementals instead of 4x damage like their Atlan Stone counterparts. This could be a major bug for this event...

I'd like to add that these tests were completed upon the Fire Elementals surrounding the Crater Village - Flammas, Flares, Infernos, and one unfortunate Firestorm!

I did some more experimenting today now that I have a Perfect Isparian Bow. It appears that the Shimmering Isparian Bow does the same, base damage that any bow would do to elementals.

Undoubtedly, there's more information to come!

Templar Nocturne, Leafcull

Hi, I thought I'd let you know there is no bug with the Shimmering Isparian weapons. They are effective against all types of dual-elementals. The description on the weapon reads elemental slayer, and as of this month dual-elementals are classed as "elementals", rather than any particular type. Using the perfect sword, I was able to solo to the bottom of the Fathomless Chasm with little difficulty. If you need any proof that they work ;)

Gokou Dragonspirit of S
C

I have read the reports you published about the new shimmering Isparian Bow not doing much damage. Well I would have to disagree. After the hot fix I got my prismatic stone and upgraded my bow, I went to crater to try it out, I was using deadly frog crotch on the Infernos and I did 40-60 points a pop. I hit Niffis for around the same and I nuked Lich Lords for over 100 a pop. Pan Shadows for 70-100 also. I love this weapon. It hit any and all creatures without having to switch between arrows and hits them hard. Before to get the same results, I would have to buff my composite bow with 6's and imp 5 the critters and use the right arrow to get the same results. The only down side is the 4 vuln's it casts on you, but I can only comment on the bow.
