"I heard about Xbow getting a nice lil love.... I didn't believe it.... but..
I pulled out my comp...

New Writ Quest!
Astral Dominae of TD reports that you can purchase Garden Drudges for 200K, Fountains for 200K or Signs for 100K in the furniture shop at the Hollow Lair near Lytelthorpe (2.2S, 50.7E), restricted to levels 20+. (The NPC takes trade notes.)

Arcanum Envoy tells you, "Greetings, brave adventurer! Time is short, I fear. We have discovered a delicate situation. While the Virindi have apparently been vanquished, not all of their minions have followed suit."
Arcanum Envoy tells you, "There is a crazed Hollow Minion, who calls himself Dranith Menacet, residing at the end of these tunnels. We have never heard of a hollow who possesses an individual name. I hope this is the worst of the surprises we face in the near future."
Arcanum Envoy tells you, "Nuhmudira preserve us. If you are able to reach and vanquish Dranith, please see if he has left anything of note behind. The Arcanum is extremely interested in getting at the root of this problem. According to the Arcanum, portalspace disruptions around the nine Arrival towns are increasing daily. We need to put a stop to this immediately."

Nuhmudira's Token

A token from Nuhmudira to be given either to an Arcanum Agent for a Writ of Refuge or an Arcanum Envoy for access to items for your home.

Value

0
Burden 5

If you kill the Minion (take the passage left of the lifestone), you can pick up a Nearly Illegible Note which spawns on the floor. Give it to the Envoy for Nuhmudira's Token. Return the Token to the Envoy for access to the furniture store, OR give it to an Agent in exchange for a writ. Choose wisely!
(Thanks to Julian's Touch of TD for Token pic and info!)

You give Arcanum Envoy A Near Illegible Note.
Arcanum Envoy tells you, "Ahh, here is the token of Nuhmudira's esteem."
Arcanum Envoy gives you Nuhmudira's Token.
Arcanum Envoy tells you, "You may use this toekn in one of two ways. First, you may deliver it to an Agent of the Arcanum, and they will reward you with a Writ of Refuge. But be aware that they will only do this once. After that, they will have no need of these tokens from you."
Arcanum Envoy tells you, "The alternative is to give me back the token. I will then permit you to enter the portal next to me. You will there see a furniture vendor who has unique items to sell you for your house. Choose your desire with care."

New Message!
This message appeared when Dranith Menacet (a unique Minion) was killed by the first questers to conquer the Hollow Lair. Thanks to Rofacale of TD and Veritus Venatus of TD.

A flash of purple light streaks through the horizon and you hear a shattering thunderclap in the distance. A strange hollow voice echoes in your mind, 'Our conquest begins today. At this point we are merely a rumble. Soon we will be the thunder that shakes the very flesh off your bones. Our time is soon, human. Very soon.' The voice fades away, leaving you with a dizzying headache.

Your assault sends Dranith Menacet to an icy death!

You reel as a tremendous shock wave passes through you upon the vanquishing of Dranith Menacet. A horrible din rises up in the background, and then slowly fades away. You hear the voice of Dranith Menacet echo loudly in your mind, 'Do you think this means you've won? Do you really? Our plan has only begun, flesh. This is only the start. Soon you will see what your victory has meant. Empty as the very air. The only victory today is mine.' The voice slowly fades away. You see a piece of white paper lying on the ground.

Diamond Powder

A fine sparkling powder lies here, the residue of the mighty Diamond Golem.

Value

0
Burden 20

You can also receive writs from Diamond Golem Powder or Pyreal Ingots. Thanks to Spell SLinger of DT. Visit the Housing Purchasing page for more information.

You give Agent of the Arcanum Diamond Powder.
Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "A rare find! My congratulations. Here is your Writ of Refuge. The Empyrean have left many secrets for us to puzzle out. Their geomancy recently became transparent to us. This powder might reveal yet another crucial part of their power. We shall crush the enemy through their own devices!"
Agent of the Arcanum gives you Writ of Refuge.

Lawn Ornaments!
Currently, you can purchase Garden Gnomes, Ornate Fountains and Plaques (which can only be read if they aren't mounted on a hook, unless I'm missing something ;-). Icons for various other household items updated. Visit the Interior Decorating page for more information.

Hooks, Hooks and More Hooks!
Many more hooks added to houses. Updated with a more attractive look, and the ability to hide them from view. 25 hooks may be in use at one time. In addition, many more items now have mounting capabilities!

Run has been NERFED!
Just kidding! It's now easier to invite your friends for a cup of tea. New Settlement Portals can be found in close proximity to major towns. Visit the Settlement Portals page for coordinates. All housing settlements have also been given names (Excellent idea!). Real Estate Guide to be updated in the near future!

Town Criers Are Thieves!!
All NPCs, excluding Town Criers, will no longer eat trophy items that they cannot use. Yay! Town Criers will take anything, and will give nothing in return. (You can still get rid of that no-drop no-give quest weapon that you can't use). However, in their zeal, they will now even take your money without giving any news in return! ;-)

New Atlan Stone of Black Fire Effects!

Thanks to Nuff Said of SC for posing!

Updated Cow!
Previously, cows on Dereth could be spotted with a map of Dereth on their side. Now, these cows have a map of Marae Lassel on their other side! Believe me, trying to get a pic near the lifestone at Arwic was no easy feat! If they weren't killing the poor side of beef, they were tipping it! Thanks to Skippy Skullcrusher of TD, John D and Scyfer the Destroyer of TD.

More coming soon!
