If you happen across this
note, then the barkeeps that I contracted to supply it have done their job.
As we live in this world, we continue to unearth the secrets and history of
the Empyrean. From time to time, we have come across scrolls and writings of
a culture that predates both the Yalain and the Dericost.
The Falatacot have long been my area of focus although information is sparse
and difficult to obtain. Recently, more and more information on them has
surfaced.
This appears to correlate with the ritus that Nuhmudira enacted to weaken
the Olthoi Queen.
In the time since, I have been searching for more information on the
Falatacot and their experiments; but my time is limited and I have been
mostly unsuccessful. I am nevertheless convinced that the Moarsmen of the
Vesayen islands have some tie to the Falatacot.
If you have the time, please search the places that the Moarsmen are known
to habit and bring me anything you may
find. Also, come to speak with me and I can fill you in on any further
details. Bring this note with you so that I will know what your business
with me pertains to.
-- Fanzen San
You give Fanzen San the
Translator The Moars.
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "Ah! I see
you have found my note. I asked the barkeeps on the Vesayen Islands to
distribute it for me. And since you are here, giving this to me, it appears
they did what I had asked."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "With all that has been happening of
late I can't help but be intrigued by all of this Falatacot nonsense. So far
we've seen a good deal about the under handed side of their people. But we
know there is a lighter side to them. A less cruel side."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "We also know that the Moarsmen, the
swamp dwelling creatures that were discovered when portals to the Vesayen
Islands first opened, have some sort of connection to them. The Adjanites
frequently kept them, though we are not exactly certain why."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "I would enjoy the opportunity to learn
more about them, but I honestly have very little time outside of my
translator duties to devote to researching the moarsmen."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "I know! Since you are here, would you
mind going back to the Vesayen Islands and look for information for me? I
can't leave this building, but I can read as much as I want!"
