Kalazar of SC reports:
"When patch came up, I went to Eastham. Then went out the road to the
Emmisary and the windmill. There is now a portal to Asheron's Island. Use
it, then use the portal of Asheron's Castle at the drop. Then go into the
castle and talk to Asheron, grab the note and take him the item(s) he needs,
you get a reward for 50 points, 100, and 200. They consist of a title, pack
doll, and a awesome new shield!"

Emissary of Asheron tells
you, "Greetings, Asheron, my lord and creator, has asked me to invite all
humans to his home. He wishes to thank you all for your help in freeing him
from the horrible Falatacot who imprisoned him on Bur. You can take this
portal to get to his island."
Asheron tells you, "Welcome
to my home! I owe your people a great deal. Because of you I am still able
to continue my efforts to return my people to this world."
Asheron tells you, "Humans shall forever be friends with the Empyreans."
Asheron tells you, "I have been told much of what happened here while I was
held captive by the Bur."
Asheron tells you, "My servants showed surprising initiative in acquiring
your help in defense of the tower."
Asheron tells you, "It would have been very bad indeed if Grael had gained
access to my tower. He could have called upon the full magics of the ley
lines and split the planet asunder if that had been his wish."
Asheron tells you, "Thanks to your people the tower was well defended. I
wish to ensure the safety of the tower and all that lies within these
walls."
Asheron tells you, "To that end I am building a great golem of crystal and
pyreal who will protect this place and all who rest here."
Asheron tells you, "Bring me Crystal and Pyreal and I will add it to my
ultimate protector"
Asheron tells you, "There is a note on the table here that lists the types
of crystal and pyreal I can use in the golem's construction."
Asheron tells you,
"Thank you for your help."
ASheron tells you, "Take this small bit of knowledge in reward."
You've earned 99,078,618 experience.
Asheron tells you, "You've handed in at least 50 motes
and crystals now. This Guardian will be as much your creation as it is
mine."
Asheron awards you the title "Tower Guardian
Architect".
Asheron tells you,
"Thank you for your help."
Asheron tells you, "You've handed in quite a few crystal and motes now. At
least a hundred by my count."
Asheron tells you, "Take this knowledge and one of the models I made when
designing the Tower Guardian."
Asheron gives you Pack Tower Guardian.

Nihiiji the Great of TD poses with the shield
below!
New Quest - Tanada House of Waters!
Thanks to Ishmael of LC for details below. Thanks also to Devsie of SC,
Flandamier of LC, Shogunz of TD!
If you've completed the Tanda quests by
talking to Ben Ten's students in shoushi and Yanshi you're flagged for the
new Tanada quest. Talk to the student in Shoushi. If you've helped her
recently enough, she'll refer you to Meshenq in Zaikhal. Meshenq tells you
that while tracking the Tanda to the Southern Landbridge, he was sent to his
lifestone by a group of Tanada. He gives you a medallion and asks you to
investigate the area, bringing back any relevant info on this new Tanada.
NPC: Sayuji Jina - 33.3S 72.8E in Shoushi
NPC: Meshenq - 13.8N, 0.6E in Zaikhal
Sayuji Jina tells you, "Ah
yes, I remember your excellent work in the past on this ongoing Tanada
investigation. I would ask you to tangle again with those renegade Nanjou
Shou-Jen... My colleague Meshenq in Zaikhal had a run-in with some Tanada
while he was exploring the southern land bridge. Please go to Zaikhal and
see if there is some way you can help him."
Meshenq tells you, "Ah!
Sayuji Jina told me of you! You helped her investigate the Tanada houses of
Earth and Air, did you not? Excellent! I need your help now."
Meshenq gives you Tanada Gate Medallion.
Meshenq tells you, "I was exploring the southern land
bridge when I was attacked by a pair of Tanada! But these were strange
Tanada, not like the descriptions I've heard from Jina. They killed me and
sent me back to my lifestone here in Zaikhal, but before I died I was able
to tear this medallion off one of them..."
Meshenq tells you, "My camp was at 85.2 S, 4.4 W, and I think they came from
the west. I would advise you to search the area and see if you can locate
some trace of the Tanada presence... Please bring me back any evidence you
might turn up of what has brought the Tanada to that area."
Dungeon: Tanada House of Water - 85.3S 5.8W
(Level 80+)
You can reach the Southern Land Bridge via the settlement portals directly
west of the drop in Qalabar. You're running mostly west to the coords he
provides: 85.2S, 4.4W. You'll have to stay on the mountains, zig-zagging
your way there. Don't jump down as you'll get stuck in a valley. You'll find
an Abandoned camp site, apparently Meshenq's. Meshenq mentioned that he
suspected the group came from the west.
Head west and you'll discover the Tanada House of Water Portal. You must put
on the medallion at this point, or you will be informed that you have to
complete a quest to enter the portal.
The dungeon resembles those of the Tanada of the house of Breath and
Earth...however it pulses with portal energy, apparently from the Virindi
these Tanada have allied with. It's very linear - as long as you don't turn
around you'll reach the end. Along the way you'll encounter Acolytes and
Masters of Decay (level 115), as well as Virindi Profane. The Masters are
wearing Virindi Masks! The final room contains a master and what appears to
be a Virindi Consul, but goes by the name Consul of Tanada. He's only
slightly harder than a Virindi Consul.
Consul to the Tanada is
reduced to cinders!
My master will take his revenge, weakling flesh puppet!
Loot the corpse to receive an untranslated Virindi shard, the Consul's
Message Shard - surely something Meshenq would be interested in. Luckily,
the translator required for Virindi Shards is right up the hill from him.
|
 |
Tanada Consul's Message Shard |
This shard of black obsidian throbs with the unwholesome
magical emanations of the chaotic Virindi.
This item cannot be read, but a scholar of the ways of the Virindi may

You give Diyas al-Yat Tanada Consul's Message Shard.
Diyas al-Yat tells you, "Ah, a message shard from a
Virindi Consul found in the southern land bridge? Most intriguing... Let me
see if I can translate it for you..."
A strange, cold light emanates from the eyes of Diyas
al-Yat as he concentrates on the message shard.
Diyas al-Yat gives you Tanada House of Water Orders.
Diyas al-Yat tells you, "I have translated the shard
for you. You should bring that translation to Meshenq. He will know what to
do with such dire news. Imagine, Nanjou Shou-Jen corrupted by the chaos
Virindi! Such an abomination!"
Diyas al-Yat tells you, "Also, Meshenq has told me he gave you a medallion
he took from the Tanada who attacked him. The medallion is attuned to the
corrupted spirits of the House of Water Tanada. If you give it to me, I can
channel its magic to make it useful to you, but I am afraid it will lose the
property that grants you access to the House of Water. Not that you need to
go to that foul place any more..."
You give Diyas al-Yat Tanada Gate Medallion.
Diyas al-Yat tells you, "Yes, as I may have mentioned,
this medallion is attuned to the corrupted life-force of the Nanjou Shou-Jen
who have given themselves to the dominion of the chaotic Virindi... Truly
tragic. I can channel the magic in this medallion to be useful to you, but
it will no longer grant you access to the House of Water. I can't imagine
why you'd want to go back in there, though."
Diyas al-Yat gives you Channeled Tanada Medallion.
Diyas al-Yat tells you, "If you don't find this
channeled medallion useful, you can just give it to me and I'll compensate
you with general training."

meanwhile, I thank you for your excellent service."
You've earned 27,564,250 experience.

Graveyard!
Thanks to Sweet Destiny of LC and fellows Vici, Flandamier, Madaster
Mage, Linx, Sweet Destiny, Natalia Brynmad, GG, and Dipali!
Graveyard: 65.0S, 44.1W
NPC: Apep-Tek the Tolerant
Details from Devsie of SC:
"Hi maggie, Tao found the graveyard in the Dires and a group of us went to
check it out. We probably had about 20 toons running there in the end, such
was the interest.
To reach the graveyard, take Wai Jhou portal or something closer? Run to 65S
44W roughly. Hard to miss it is a big landscape area.
As we arrived and ran through gravestones we were met by a lot of level
200ish undead and skellies. We later worked out that this spawn is present
from "Gloaming till Dawnsong", and during the daytime are a bunch of very
annoying rats (lightning works well if you're a mage).
So quickly people started dying left and right and we gave the command to
jump onto the rooftops of the structures there. From here we could hunt
relatively safely. But we still had a number of deaths and unfortunately a
lot of people dropped out. You mainly need to kill Wights (undead), Wight
Captains and Wight Sorcerers. They drop shrouds which every now and again
you need to drop down to collect. The captains take more killing but tend to
drop 2-3 shrouds. The sorcerers have fairly nasty spells. Hit me for 215
whilst I was buffed with a major ward on.
Eventually about 5 of us finished it - to the best of our knowledge so far.
We collected up 10 Shrouds each and handed them in to Apep-tek the Tolerant
found amongst the gravestones and the rest of the spawn.
Apep-tek the Tolerant tells you, "So, you have
gathered the shrouds of the cursed. Speak with me."
Apep-tek the Tolerant tells you, "You are foolish to brave this cursed
place."
Apep-tek the Tolerant tells you, "I see that you have gathered 10 shrouds of
the pyre."
Apep-tek the Tolerant tells you, "Excellent. The deceivers shall never gain
these shrouds."
You hand over 10 of your Pyre Shrouds.
You've earned 9,000,000 experience.

I seriously hope this is
flagging for something more, and hope there is a lot more to the quest. I'm
sure they wouldn't have built such a large area just for this. It definitely
is not worth it for 9million, so I'm trusting it will develop.
There's more...
Of the 2 that finished, First Wizard mentions...
"I got some exhumed bones that are attuned"
"says The ghostly gravedigger seeks these bones to lay them to rest"
Dunno any more on these yet.
And Monu Ia found Ancient Journal Page:
Kuyiza bint Zayi the Translator tells you, "There you
are. This was found in an ancient graveyard you say? It would appear to have
been several millenia old! I wonder how this place appeared after all this
time.
I will not ask for mercy, nor would the lord mage Rytheran grant it to me
if I bowed to him and begged for it. He seems to revel in the corruption and
destruction his foul magic has wrought. The manor is in ruins, torn asunder
by the wizard. Only the graveyard survives now. Rytheran's servants took to
throwing the prisoners, my soldiers and vassals, on a great pyre in the
center of the lower graveyard. The magic used against us corrupted the pyre.
I could hear their spirits cry out in torment. He would deny them peace even
in death. I can still hear the cries of those of noble blood as Rytheran
subjected them to his cursed magical experimentation. It is only a matter of
time before they find me. Rytheran's magic has rent the ground, and the
estate is slowly being swallowed by the earth. Even the edges of the
graveyard, stone and spirit, are being cast down into the earth. Soon there
will be nothing left and no one who will even remember my House. I can hear
them. They have found me.
Just one more bit -- this is the "new tech" they were banging on about.
Rather than handing over notes, you talk to him and a popup comes up asking
if you're sure you want to hand them over. To be honest, he's in a
relatively hostile environment that I wasn't going to clear so I did it in a
real rush and didn't pay any attention to their "glorious new tech". :)
Missing Timaru Town Crier!
Thanks to Larceny of TD,
Jobu Uboj The Green of SC!
Guard
Hrothgar tells you, "Greetings, traveler. If you'll excuse me, I am in the
middle of examining a crime scene here."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "The Aun town crier has
disappeared from the town, and no one seems to know where she is. Aun
Hareltah reauested [sic] that the Queen send someone to investigate. It was a
harrowing trip to get through Viamontian lines unnoticed, but we've managed
to do so."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "Unfortunately, we have no clues. We'll keep
looking, but I don't see much likely hope of finding anything."
On the ground next to him,
random spawn spots, is a Shred of Blue Cloth. I picked this up and handed it
back to Guard Hrothgar. I then received this message and and xp reward:
You give Guard Hrothgar
Shred of Blue Cloth.
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "What's this? You found it in the grass by where

I went there today and no one was around. No tc, no guards, no blue cloth.
He was there yesterday. Glitch? Progression? [face_baffled]"

Being Punishedd of SC sends
this update (March 28th): "Greetings Maggie,
Found this (new Holtburg scene - 42.3N, 34.6E)... I have attached two
pictures. One of the cloth and one of the text. Pls Post my findings. . Love
your site."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "Greetings, traveler. If
you'll excuse me, I am in the middle of examining a crime scene here."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "This is the second crime scene I've been to this
month. This one is certainly more unusual. Certainly countless adventurers
have honed their weapons and spells on the drudges which used to lurk by
this tree - but I cannot imagine anyone with the power to kill permanently
would waste their efforts here."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "In addition, you'll note that only one corpse is
accounted for. Perhaps the drudge felt that the threat of permanent death
was too frightining and ran off - but after how many years guarding the same
apple tree? This is a strange scene indeed."
You give Guard Hrothgar Shred of Blue Cloth.
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "You found it near the tree,
hm? We'll take a closer look and see if it means anything to anyone. Good
eye."
You've earned 3,289,118 experience.

Devsie of SC sends more
(March 31st): "Hiya, not sure I already posted to you to say that the guards
had gone from Timaru. Found them just outside the hidden entrance not far
from the VoD hot drop.
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "Greetings, traveler. If
you'll excuse me, I am in the middle of examining a crime scene here."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "We had a report from Hendac and Jenavere that
something strange occurred within this cavern. Apparently, they have on
occasion visited the banderling chieftain of this place - one Harraag - to
learn more about the conflict between the banderlings and the augmented
drudges, with few results. However, they tried to pay a visit this last
time, and he wasn't there."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "As much as I hate to admit it...I can't seem to
get in to investigate the site. Instead, we're investigating around here to
see what we can find."
Harraag is indeed missing, but if you head to where he was u find another
piece of blue cloth. (1 time pickup) Hope that helps :)"
You give Guard Hrothgar Shred of Blue Cloth.
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "Thank you for going through
the caverns for us! We'll take a close look and see what this is."
You've earned 32,891,180 experience.

The April 1 update from
Devsie of SC: "Just to keep you up to date, we had a global, went to Candeth,
chatted with Hrothgar and handed in cloth.
As the month rolls around to April on another world
far away, the world of Dereth becomes...more surreal.
Yet even amongst all the surreality, a tragedy occurs. Yet another kidnappin
has occurred, this time in Candeth Keep itself!
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "Greetings, traveler. If
you'll excuse me, I am in the middle of examining a crime scene here."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "This is at least a more conventional crime, even
if we have no leads yet. Dojiro Sargi has been the grocer here in Candeth
Keep for some time, but no one is aware of any enemies that he may have
made. One night, Talira Dain's servant, Gilly, went out to pick up cheese
for her mistress's late night snack, and discovered that Grocer Sargi was
missing."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "The local guard report that they might have seen
the purple glow of someone portalling earlier that evening, but they assumed
it was one of the many adventurers who often come here to reprovision."
You give Guard Hrothgar Shred of Blue Cloth.
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "We're beginning to develop
a collection of these, I must say. We'll take a look and see what it means."
You've earned 3,289,118 experience.

Tibik tells you, "Me Tibik. Me gather food for Clutch

Tibik tells you, "You find magic door in Eastern Catacombs, near top. You

There's a portal just inside the Eastern Catacombs to "Swamp Cavern." The
cavern is populated with Putrid Moars (lvl 95). When you complete the kill
task, return to Tibik.
