New Masks!
Thanks to Trade Mule of HG (posing
below left), Anna Elyse of TD (posing below right), Shen-Mara of LC!
Shen-Mara of LC reports:
"Looks like they got it in this month. Giving the head to the mask maker
gives you the undead version, and if you give it back he splits it into the
bandana and a zombie mask. I want the Undead Captain's hat even more, but
he's been stingy so far."

New Quest - Finding Rheaga!
Angeni & Fz of HG send the following report: "Town Crier says to see Nomea ibn Makar in Qalabar. She
tells you to go to Ayan and go to the Lonely Fortress west of there.
Nomea ibn Makar tells
you, "Ah, you may be suitable for the task I have at hand. We've received
reports that the Virindi renegade Aerbax has endowed a Hea Tumerok with
increased intelligence and magical power. You can only imagine what danger
this creature would pose if it came to unite the Tumeroks, the way Aerbax's
other experiments have tried, yes?"
Nomea ibn Makar tells you, "Please venture to the Lonely Fortress on the
western edge of Dereth, north of Ayan Baqur, and see to it that this Tumerok
poses us no threat."
The Lonely Fortress portal (level 80+) is at 56.7s 88.4w Has a bunch of
Virindi and Shadows around outside. Inside are more Virindi and Shadows.
We went north and just kept going upwards when we could.
As you get closer to Rheaga you find Rheaga's Companions which are level 115
smaller sized Iron golems. Keep going up until you get to Hea Rheaga, a
level 120 Uplisted Tumerok. There is a note on the floor to pick up and his journal to read in a side
area.
Text:
Rheaga's Journal
Hea Rheaga tells you,
"Greetings, human. Have you come to slay me? I have divined, through my vast
intelligence and penetrating senses, that a human named Nomea in your
shantytown of Qalaba'r wishes me dead. Simply because I am a failed
experiment of the meddler Aerbax. I can assure you that I pose no threat."
Hea Reaga tells you, "I have no desire to meet, let alone unite or enslave,
m brethren. Nor do I care to wage any kind of war, by arms, sorcery, or
guile, against humankind. I have studied enough to know that no good can
come of treating with your people."
Hea Reaga tells you, "If you would slay me, be done with it now. I can
assure you, death neither fascinates nor terrifies me. I am not particularly
attached to the life I have been given."
Hea Reaga tells you, "If you would spare me, merely pick up the note you see
before me, and deliver it to Nomea. I am convinced it will convince Nomea of
my benign inntent."
Hea Reaga tells you, "BE warned, I will fight back if atacked. I am not
completely apathetic, after all. I do possess some survival instinct."
When we talked to him we got the text: Hea Rheaga tells you, "Note or head,
it makes no difference to me... Begone, and off to Nomea with you."
We did not kill him and brought the note to Nomea and received the
following:
You give Nomea ibn Makar Letter to Nomea.
Nomea ibn Makar tells you, "A very interesting note you've given me here. I
suppose this is enough to confirm that this Rheaga has no interest in
uniting his kin for a war against us. I thank you for your service."
You've earned 20,000,000 experience.
Nomea ibn Makar has granted you the title "Friend of Rheaga"
I don't know what you get if you do kill Hea Rheaga."
Thanks also to Kalazar of SC!
Text:
Letter to Nomea
Tlosk of HG reports: "The
other outcome for the Finding Rheaga quest is to kill him then loot his
head. Once you pick up either the head, or the letter, you cannot pick up
the other and it is once per character."
Hea Rheaga says, "Oh dear... It looks like death is just as boring as the
rest of this uninspiring existence..."
Nomea ibn Makar tells you, "Have you resolved the
situation with the Hea Tumerok known as Rheaga yet? Please, be on your way
and return to me when you've sorted that Tumerok out."
You give Nomea ibn Makar Head of Rheaga.
Nomea ibn Makar tells you, 'Funny, the beast doesn't
look any smarter than any of the other Tumeroks. Good job, bringing that
dangerous creature down. Oh, he may have protested his innocence, but all of
these things that Aerbax twisted... Well, they can't help eventually turning
to his will, can they?'
You've earned 20,000,000 experience.
Nomea ibn Makar has granted you the title 'Slayer of Rheaga'

New Quest -
Guardian
of Linvak Tukal!
Hello Maggie, Count Monte Cristo from Leafcull here. Upon doing the
Shadow Kresovus quest by talking to Orent The Pale in Cragstone I
investigated the quest further with Kelly The Archer. The quest
I have to
say myself was very challenging. There were challenges called The Arm, Heart
and Mind challenges. We had to save Lord KreSovus from the Shadow version of
him who is in fact the imposter. I have attached some images to use on your
site of just some of the rewards that you get from the Shadow Kresovus
quest. Some rewards such as Balor's Robe and the title of Guardian of Linvak
Tukal as well as some addtional XP in which I earned 190 million xp. Lord
Kresovus also gave us a Powdered Chorizite Pea which we have found no use
for as of yet. Hope the images help. Site is great keep up the good work.
Count Monte Cristo.
P.S. Also attached is a screenshot of a letter a dropped from the corpse of
Phlynt Agent of the Hidden Hand.
Thanks also to Amaruc of MT for pics!
Oswent the Pale tells you,
"You've investigated the matter of the Lord Kresovus impostor to my
satisfaction."
Oswent the Pale tells you, "I have another mission for you that may prove
far more dangerous, but your people need you."
Oswent the Pale tells you, "Deliver this Royal Summons to Kresovus. He will
have to accompany you if he wishes to keep his cover. When you and the
imposter are away from Linvak and alone you must dispose of him."
Oswent the Pale gives you Royal Summons.
You give Lord Kresovus Royal
Summons.
Kresovus reads the summons. You suspect you see a small smirk flit across
his face.
Lord Kresovus tells you,
"I cannot speak of this here. There is a spy in my court and I fear for my
life. You must meet with me in secret below. Use the chest here to access
the chambers beneath Linvak Tukal. I will meet you there."
You place your hand on
the chest, and it rumbles open, revealing the purple light of portalspace...

You hand over

You hand over all of your Yellow Stones.
You hand over all of your White Stones.
To prove your clarity of mind you must use the stones provided to make each
bag contain one color and you must use the remaining stones to balance the
scales correctly.
. Red Stones weigh three stone.
. Yellow Stones weigh two stone.
. White Stones weigh one stone.
You have three attempts to accomplish the task.
You have five minutes to solve the puzzle. Speak to me again when you
believe that you have solved the puzzle.
... Checking bag for stones ...
There are no Red Stones in this bag.
There is 1 Yellow Stone in this bag.
There is 1 White Stone in this bag.
You begin to enter the portal and are suddenly knocked
backwards into the room. A dark figure and several Virindi emerge from the
portal
Shadow Kresovus says, "You are proving to be more resourceful
than I expected... I will make you pay for the trouble you have caused me."
Dungeon: Trial of the Heart
You look at a painting of
Lugians standing side by side next to a freshly built Linvak Tukal. A
caption at the bottom reads, "Only through hard work and friendship can we
be truly great."
Correct. Remember what matters most and you shall
remain Pure of Heart.
A door to the East creaks open.
Your blow knocks a small crystal from Shadow
Kresovus' pocket. It falls to the floor and shatters in a bright flash.
The energy cage surrounding Lord Kresovus seems to wane.
Shadow Kresovus says, "Why won't you
just die?!"
Shadow Kresovus growls in frustration and leaps through the portal to
the next room.
Lord Kresovus says, "Free me!"
You give Energy Cage Phial of Chorizite.
The energy cage surrounding Lord Kresovus bursts apart in a magical
discharge.
Kresovus heaves a sigh of relief and gives you an appraising look.
Lord Kresovus tells
you, "Thank you. I must ask that you defeat my imposter alone. I am not
strong enough to fight him now. Please follow him and insure he troubles
us no more."
Lord Kresovus tells you, "Good luck my friend."
Kresovus makes a sweeping gesture recalling to his lifestone.
Dungeon:
Graduation of the Trials
Shadow Kresovus grins, his black teeth grinding, "Congratulations on
completing the Trials of the Arm, Mind and Heart human. Perhaps you
would make a better Lugian than I, but we shall never find out. For now
it is time that you die."
Shadow Kresovus says, "I can't believe it. You defeated me? Me!"
Shadow Kresovus says, "You've ruined everything! Oh, but you'll see. The
Master will not be happy. You and your kind will be paid back in full.
You give Lord
Kresovus Sigil of Linvak Tukal.
Lord Kresovus heaves a great sigh. "Thank you for freeing me
[Player Name]. I owe you a great deal."
Lord Kresovus gives you Powdered Chorizite Pea.
Lord Kresovus tells you, "Take this Chorizite Pea.
I have also given permission to Auritis to upgrade any of the armor or
weapons of the Arm, Mind and Heart that you may have. Speak with him to
find out more."
Kresovus chuckles lightly to himself.
Lord Kresovus tells you, "Long have I trained the
best of my people in the three paths we Lugians brought with us from the
old world. You have not only seen the Trials of the Arm, Mind and Heart,
but you must have bested each of them to save me from the cowled ones
and the shadowy imposter."
Lord Kresovus tells you, "Had a human ever asked to take the trials I
would have denied them such a presumptious request, but you have proven
your Strength, Clarity and Purity beyond doubt."
You've earned [xxxx]
experience.
Lord Kresovus clears his throat, "All who may hear my words. I am proud
to bestow the honor and duty of 'Guardian of Linvak Tukal' on
[Player Name]. Their honor and dignity
continue to prove the wisdom of our friendship and loyalty to the
Humans.

New Quest - Carenzi Plague!
Mac furious of FF
reports: "Hey there,
This is regarding the new "Carenzi Plague Quest."
To start talk to Aun Teriona at 41.3N, 75.3W near
Bluespire. According to your level,
he will tell you which Carenzi
you should go kill. Once you start killing them,
eventually some will drop livers right on the ground. You
must pick one up and a timer starts from that
point. You now have 2 hours to kill the amount of
Carenzi needed to stop plague in area
(you must keep picking up the livers,
not just kill the Carenzi).
Eevery time a liver is picked up, it will
tell you your progress,
like "you have killed over half the number you need to kill" or something
like that. Nnow I would
believe that any
Carenzis drop livers.
The highest ones according to the
Tumerok are tainted Carenzi,
but I would believe
Ravagers are higher in level
(all found on Caul). Once
you kill enough, you will get xp right away
without talking to Tumi again.
I got 24 million xp for killing the third
highest carenzi (I'm lvl 233).
I'm sure the other ones are more xp.
On a last note, when
you do talk to Tumi
again, he gives you a
writ of refuge no matter which Carenzis
you finished killing. Hope
this helps, luv the site."
