Shortcut: Arwic's settlement Far Claw

It all start with a little hunt of Coruscating Olthoi Scent Gland which you get off the Paradox-touched Olthoi Swarm Eviscerator, Lacerator, Slasher or Ripper. They are easy to track, they are level 175. Once all your fellow got one, go kill the warded guardian. Becarefull, she's a lot more dangerous than she was from the last patch. When you killed her, go in BDC and enter the paradox's portal. Go to the egg room and give the scent gland to the sealed door. After a good run through many higher breed paradox-touched olthoi, you jump into a black mist to be teleported to the queen's room. Dangerous? Very!!! I hope you got a good group (or groups... there's about 19 carapace in her corpse) to kill her. Collect the carapace shard off her corpse than run back to Ethan Wintermaine. He will give you a weapon token which can be traded by the weapon crafter hidden in one of the tunnel below (the one @ NW)

Reward: up to 247M, choice of many type of weapon (sword, UA, spear, axe, altatl) or a shield. Title for the queenslayer.

Ethan Wintermaine tells you, "Go beyond the passage, find the Paradox-touched Olthoi Queen, and kill her. Bring me back proof of her death, and I'll reward you for your part in it. Be warned, however. She's not a creature to be taken lightly, or hunted alone."

Adrien Swiftblade tells you, "Along with the rise of these strange new Olthoi, there is a Portal, warded by powerful magics, which formed in the Black Death Catacombs. You may've seen it already, or you may not have."
Adrien Swiftblade tells you, "Anyways, I've found a way to get the wards to drop for a time. There is a Ward Guardian in a cave located in a heavily infested area nearby, around 43.6N, 55.5E. When that thing dies, the wards falter for a time."
Adrien Swiftblade tells you, "Be warned, however, the Ward Guardian has grown dramatically in strength since it first appeared. It is now as strong or stronger than those twisted bugs that wander the inner areas of the infestation, and should not be taken lightly."
Adrien Swiftblade tells you, "Once the Ward Guardian is dead, so you should be able to enter the Deeper Catacombs of the Paradox-touched Olthoi. Once in there, look for anything that may be of use to use in our research and bring it back to me."
Adrien Swiftblade tells you, "If, for some reason, the Portal is closed again when you get there, you should find the Ward Guardian in his cave and kill him again."
Adrien Swiftblade tells you, "I would hurry though, every time the Ward Guardian dies, it's either reborn, recreated, or whatever roughly six hours after its death, and the Wards return with it."

Alicia Swiftblade tells you, "Greetings to you. I'm glad you've come up this way. If you're willing to aid us against these strange new Olthoi, I could set you to a task that you may find enlightening."
Alicia Swiftblade tells you, "Go out to the places where these new grubs have been appearing, and kill them before they grow into something far worse. Kill, let's say, 50 of these Paradox-touched Grubs, and I'll reward you for your aid in this. They seem to be most concentrated in the nearby valley, but I've seen signs of them all over 'Olthoi North'."

Alicia Swiftblade tells you, "You've done it! That should help thin their numbers for a while. We haven't been able to stop them completely, but your efforts should help keep the lands safe for a time. Come back in about a week, and I should have more for you to hunt."

Zouf of LC reports: "It's the same thing as the composite bow except you need to give the matty horn to Havala bint Mylos and, instead of a string, you need grievver spikes (Spiked Grievver drop them). A good place to hunt the spike is @ ancient caves. Add an handle et voila."

Unfortunately the caves are infested with Grievvers and can be quite dangerous for an unprepared explorer. Go and find a Hardened Bone in the middle level of the caves. I wouldn't suggest going deeper into the caves alone, but there are other bones that I can use buried in the deeper levels, should you risk the depths."
