Viamontian Heritage Masks!
Elizabetha Lazulae of HG reports: "Hi, Maggie! The new Viamontian mask
maker, Trilaine di Ricard, stands in Sanamar at 72.1N, 61.2W.
Trilaine di Ricard tells you, "Greetings, I am
Trilaine di Ricard. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. If you bring
me the complete mask from one of those strange and gifted creatures, the
Virindi, I can forge for you a piece of Regalia worthy of the ancient
Viamont Heroes of lore!"
You allow Trilaine di Ricard to examine your Broken
Virindi Observer Mask.
Trilaine di Ricard tells you, "Hmmm... With the damage
to this mask, it is not suitable for the creation of an honorable and
exceptional piece of regalia."
Oh, well, worth a try...."
You give Trilaine di Ricard Virindi Mask.
Trilaine di Ricard tells you, "A fine mask, which will
be even finer soon enough. Here you go, the first in my line of Heraldic
Regalia, the Red Bull!"
Trilaine di Ricard gives you The Red Bull.
Absolution of FF poses in The Red Bull, The Boar
of Cinghalle, The Stag of Bellenesse, and the Royal Bull of Sanamar! Thanks
also to Ss,

Pumpkin Buffers Return!
Elizabetha Lazulae of HG reports: "The pumpkin buffer is back - and he's
brought friends! There seems to be one in most towns (I've attached a
picture of the one outside Sanamar), they cast level seven buffs and drop
marshmallow ghosts and other tasty treats."
Portal Guardian says, "Back in my day we didn't have
Pumpkin Buffers. We ran around as Cabbage Knights and did battle with other
kids. The ones left standing in the morning were declared victorious and got
to loot the unconscious ones."

Dakmor Kavu of HG reports: "She sells many goods including multi colored
sparklers, festival clothes (robe and shirt) as well as a "scarecrow stand"
(combine with a jack or lanters to make a scarecrow for your house) as well
as a T-mon Backpack Straps "Use this item on a tremendous monouga skull to

Elizabetha Lazulae of HG report: "Hi, Maggie. One more
update from this months patch: The festival vendor in Glenden Wood is back,
and as well as cheerful sparklers to celebrate Dereth's seventh anniversary
you can buy a Scarecrow Stand. Simply add this to a Jack o' Lantern (the
sort you carve yourself, rather than the loot sort) to get your very own
Scarecrow, and scare irritating monsters away from your home! What better to
hook next to your new Zombie Butler?"

Tremendous Monouga Backpack!
Nemesis the Darkmage of FF reports: "Heya Jackcat, I went to Glendenwood and
purchased T-mon backpack straps from the festival vendor.
I headed out to vod and killed me a TM. I found a TM skull and combined the
straps onto the skull and it made a TM backpck that carries 24 slots as a
normal backpack. This is what it said when I combined the two pieces:"
You carefully connect the series of straps to the
skull covering the two smaller eyeholes and placing the backpack flap over
the large one. You have successfully crafted a T-mon Backpack!

Bats Return!
Surrounded from WE reports: "Hello Maggie, usually there are 2 butterflies
at our mansion - they turned into bats now!"
Night Club!
Hirad of WE reports: "Hi Maggie, I killed a couple of the Pumpkin
Buffers that have reappeared in Holtburg, Shoushi, Sanamar and Glendon Woods
and one of them dropped a "7th Anniversary Night Club Ticket". I took it to
one of the Night Club Attendants (Sanamar in my case), and she teleported me
to the club. There are a couple of merchants there selling junk.
It's quite a big dungeon, but to get to the dancefloor you have to go past
the lugian bouncer and down stairs to the basement. Don't forget to pick up
your "Night Club Shirt" on the way in. It's a single quest pickup, so only
one per person.
Also, if you log out while in the night club, you will log back in at your
lifestone. I discovered this the hard way, so now need to find another
ticket :)"

Level VII Gems!
Samantha II of MT reports: "The new component for the level 7 gems is
Hyssop. I have a 98% chance of success with buffed skill at 424."
Zombie Butlers!
Nastazio of TD reports: "This new patch brings Zombie Butlers from housing!
How do you make one? It's quite easy! You go to lower levels areas, such as
right outside hub, and run around till you find gravestones. You then double
click them to make the "old Zombies" spawn. You kill, and loot body parts.
You'll need 2 legs, 2 arms a Torso, and a head. Once you have all of these
body parts, take your butt to Glenden Wood and hand them to Ulgrim in the
tavern."

New Pet Pumpkin!
Dakmor Kavu of HG report: "Hey Maggie! Love the Site! If you thought the old
pets were cute you haven't yet seen the new pet pumpkins! To acquire one of
your own vegetable buddies (and no I'm not talkin about those friends of
yours who come over every weekend) simple find and kill a Pumpkin Kin
(random spawn), loot the "seeds of hope", and return them to the Majestic
Pumpkin (found in Glenden Woods)."

New Quest - Ruschk Tasks!
Dakmor Kavu of HG sends these details: "Hey Maggie! Here
are some more goodies from the patch that I thought you and your fans might
enjoy :-P
Torgash & Kalakh (NPCs) - 94.0N by 45.9W
Talk to Torgash to Recieve the message:
A chill passes through your body, numbing you to the
core. For a single moment, you feel like you're going to die from the
sensation alone. The Ruschk opens his mouth; his speech comes out in but a
whisper... "[player name]"
In your mind, the following information becomes apparent to you. The Ruchk
standing before you wishes you to kill 30 of the Viamontian Knights in the
valley below. Once this is complete, he wishes you to retrieve a vial from
the westernmost Knight Encampment in the valley, near 93.5N, 51.4W. You get
the impression that the vial is in a small building, toward the back of the
encampment.
Upon completion of the task:
The Ruschk looks greatly pleased. He presses his right
fist into his left hand and bows to you. The Rushk then looks at you
quizzically, seeming to wonder if you wished to hunt more knights.
You have earned 8,700,000 experience. (Level 247)
Timer: none
Talk to Kalakh to recieve the message:
The Ruschk looks you up and down, like he is gauging
your strength. With a nod of approval, he stares into your eyes, and with a
wash of deathly cold, the following information becomes apparent in your
mind:
The Ruschk wishes you to enter the Temple of the Black Spear, located at
95.5N, 51.8W, and retrieve a small totem, important to the followers of
Grael. Once you bring the totem back to him, he will reward you for your
strength.
The dungeon is 130+ to enter, neither tieable nor recall able. Its filled
with Mukkir and Rushk, which get progressively tougher, with Shadows
appearing later on. When you get down to the room with the surface portal,
keep going down past. Room with totem is a little ways on.

unceremoniously in his pouch. Then, with a look which seems to beam with
pride, he claps you on the back. With obvious effort, he speaks in a barely
audible whisper.
Kalakh tells you, "Well... Done."
The Ruschk, Kalakh, awards you the title of "Friend to
the Frostglaive."
You've earned 29,175,980 experience
Much thanks again to Yeti Ginsu for the company and much appreciated
firepower on the quest!"
New Quest - Ruschk Tasks (alternate?)!
Ninavie and Zegeger of HG report:
Run from eastwatch, two npc's at 93.2N 48.2W.
Arialle du Bellenesse tells you, "Greetings. If you
have the time, I have a mission that you may be interested in. To the
northwest, at 95.5N, 51.8W , there is a Temple to that accursed Grael.
Inside, the Ruschk seem to have created a Totem capable of empowering Grael
himself."
Arialle du Bellenesse tells you, "This Totem cannot be allowed to stay in
their possession. They could possibly even use such a thing to overcome the
splitting of Grael into Aspects, and we'd have to battle a fully empowered
Grael, all over again."
Arialle du Bellenesse tells you, "Retrieve this Totem for me, so we can seek
a way to prevent these from aiding Grael, as well as removing it from their
possession, and I will reward you for your efforts.
Temple of the Black Spear, restricted to level 130+
Commander Rylane di Cinghalle tells you, "Greetings.
If you have the time, I have a set of tasks you could aid me with. I'm here
to help thin out the number of Ruschk in the valley below, and to gain one
of their Totems for further study."
Commander Rylane di Cinghalle tells you, "If you were to kill, say... 30 of
the Ruschk in the valley, and then acquire one of their smaller Ice Totems
from the encampment at 95.5N, 42.3W, I'd be more than happy to reward you
for your efforts."
Commander Rylane di Cinghalle tells you, "I'd kill the Ruschk first. That
should throw them into enough disarray that you should be able to grab the
Totem unnoticed."
