New Quest - Ulgrim's Drinking Buddy!

Hello Maggie, So I logged on and started talking to town criers and ulgrim. Well Ulgrim told me about how those mean ole golems that are all over his island taking some of his best stout. So I headed out there to get that man his stout back. Well to my surprise I found Ulgrims Drinking Trophy after killing a bazillion golems. I took that back to him and He challenged me to a drinking contest thinking I was questioning his drinking skills. Well I lost the first time and he awarded me with Master of Porcelain Alter Title, so I went out to his island and got another trophy. This time though I did not lose. Which got me the Ulgrim's Drinking Buddy Title.

New Quest - Messenger's Collar!

Hi Maggie, Taking Ulgrims advice I went and talked to the barkeep in Ayan, he had a new rumor on him that mentioned a new structure in Direlands Swamp and said it would be found somewhere near 41.5s, 49.5w.

After taking the 1st BM portal the new temple wasnt far from the drop. There doesnt seem to be a portal in the temple but when you brush against one of the statues inside it will portal you.

I made my way down to the bottom, all in there were burun and guruk. At the bottom you will see a room with stairs that head up to a sort of platform and what looks like a BM portal device, when you get closer to the device I heard a slight clicking noise and thought "oh no I just triggered something" Thats when another burun called a Burun Messenger with 10K health.

After a long battle I was finally able to take him down, he had an item on him called a Messanger's Collar which said to have it translated.

The only translator that would take it was Fanzen San in Heb.

You allow Fanzen San the Translator to examine your Messenger's Collar.
Fanzen San examines the collar in fascination.
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "This looks like Falatacot workmanship.
This could be a pet's collar or something similar."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "Yes, this symbol on the collar is
definitely Falatacot. I believe it means "Unity". No actually this marking
on the triangle represents a single person or a name. This translates better
as "One of Three". Very interesting..."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "My my, look here, there is some writing on the inside too. Hehe, sortof a "If found please return to..." It gives a set of coordinates. Let me see..."
Fanzen San opens a map of Dereth and drags his fingers along its length
to rest in the Osteth Mountain range.
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "Yes, here it is in the Osteth Mountains. There's nothing marked there on the map, but that doesn't mean there isn't something there. The coordinates
are 70.6N, 14.5W."

The second dungeon is very close to Stonehold. When you ID the door it reads....Ikzisik Tika Ri Zikma. You have to put the collar on at this time or you can not enter the dungeon.

Inside you will find burun, guruk, sclavus and falatacots.

In this dungeon you have to head up instead of down. once getting past the traps and creatues I found a Falatacot Tome laying on a table and took it back to Fanzen San.

You give Fanzen San the Translator Falatacot Tome.
You've earned 60,000,000 experience.
Fanzen San the Translator gives you Words of the High Matriarch.
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "This High Matriarch, this "One of
Three", must have sent the burun messenger you intercepted."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "She may have something to do with the
other recent Falatacot activities I've heard about. I may send a message
to the Royal Guard concerning this. Thank you for your help friend."

Shadow Tempest / Thistledown/ 186 sword

boomwillow of HG reports: "We did the new "collar" quest with two new dungeons. The first is at 41.5S 49.3W. Short cut is from BM1 portal, a short run. Dungeon has guruks and burun. Not a big dungeon, just keep heading down till you reach a lsrge room with a BM Portal Device and some stairs or either side. Burun messenger spawns there with 100k health - also he tries to run around a lot but you can pin him down. He drops 5 collars - will need to kill him again for larger group. Loot collar and take to hebian to translator. He will send you to second dungeon at 70.6N 14.5W not far from Stonehold. put on collar to enter dungeon. We took mostly lefts down and then up a bit to a large room with a path across. Go across and follow around through a narrow hallway with fatalcot traps. Matriach spawns in left room, two consorts spawn in right room. Up ramp from Matriarch has one patrician and a table with a book on it. It seems that book spawns after you kill the four undead. A long spawn, so be prepared to wait - around 10 minutes between spawns. Get tome and turn in to same translator in hebian to for xp reward. % of level reward with cap at 60 million. A level 102 recieved 27 million, level 107 received 37 million and level 119 received 50 million.

The collar has some decent spells on it including +25 to health and +30 to run (stackable). Level 90 to use. Sorry I didnt get a pic or more details, just finished and am beat, hehe."
