New PK Arenas!
Superior Mage of TD reports: "A few guys showed me this arena and it's really cool. You have to be PKLite to get in. The command to get there is /pklarena. The drop points are random and the lag is very reduced. There is a lot of space to it. It was great. Me and a couple of people had a huge 9v9 battle.

Damaged Shadow Stone

A Shadow Stone designed for use with Empyrean Weapons. This one seems to be badly damaged. Perhaps someone knowledgeable about Shadows would know something about this?
Value 0
Burden 20
Special Props Attuned, Bonded

You allow Sarkin Killcrane to examine your Damaged Shadow Stone.
Sarkin Killcrane tells you, "A Shadow Stone? How did you find this?"
You tell the Shadow Hunter the story of how you came to have this stone.
Sarkin Killcrane tells you, "Well, this is distressing. It sounds like the Order of the Raven Hand is finding more and more on that island then they should be allowed to."
Sarkin Killcrane tells you, "How odd, this one is cracked. You should take this stone to Ciandra, at 41.8 S, 15.8 E. Maybe she can learn more from it."

Repaired Shadow Stone

A partially repaired Shadow Stone, empowered to protect the user against the chill of the Shadows.
This item can be placed on wall hooks, where it can be used to cast its spells.
Value 10000
Burden 5

Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "Wow, a damaged Atlan Stone. I've never seen one of these damaged before. Destroyed, certainly, but it's like someone slowly drained the power from it over time..."
Ciandra examines the stone intently.
Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "Hmmm... This should work..."
Ciandra takes some tools and a few drops of Aqua Vitae to the stone.
Suddenly, the cracks seal, and the stone pulses slightly with a chill darkness.

Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "There. I don't think it'll work in an Isparian Weapon, as it is not fully repaired, but it should provide some benefit, if it's set in a secure place and used. Here you go."
You've earned 20,000,000 experience.
Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist gives you Repaired Shadow Stone.

Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "Be careful with it though, I don't yet understand enough about the nature of the Stones Atlan used to make a usable one. If only Asheron were here to ask..."

Embrace of the Chill Shadow

Reduces damage the target takes from Cold by 12%. Additional spells can be layered over this.
Duration 3 hours

Regardless of your background or political affiliation, I hope you can appreciate how much of a menace Varicci poses. Please journey to the Viamontian Esper Mine at 72.2 N, 3.0 E and see if you can get the gem that the mine's commander carries. Dungeon: Camp Entemarre - 63.0S, 82.5W (Levels 80+)

Hashina tells you, "Queen Elysa has sent me here to establish a formal relationship with the good people of Silyun, who have rebelled against Varicci's tyranny. In order to aid them in their fight, I would ask you to journey into the Direlands near Ayan Baqur. The Viamontians have built a fortress at 62.7S, 82.5W. Bring me the head of Baron Entemarre, the garrison commander. The people of Silyun seek vengeance upon Entemarre for his brutal tactics in the earlier rebellion."

Fzzt of FF reports: "Hi Maggie, Love your site, it makes AC so much more fun. Just wanted to (hopefully) provide some useful information on a new quest. Interesting Viamont Fort SE of Ayan. Fight through Viamont Knights & Mages to get to Camp Portal (Level 80+). The dungeon itself has a couple of Eaters to greet you and then it's pretty straightforward. Just kill and follow hallways with banners on them. Down a few levels fighting Knights & Mages along the way, you get to final room with the Baron Entemarre (forgot to get pic of him alive). He's surrounded by a couple of mages & knights. The surface portal past him to the left drops you just in front of where you head up hill to the Fort. Thanks for such a great job!"

New Snowglobe!
Ophar Kabitaki of FF reports: "The Huge lump of coal found on Abominable Snowmen, when taken to the Blind Snowman, gives you a Snowy Cabin Snowglobe instead of the Snowman Snowglobe. No Spells, just a decoration."

Cotho's Mage of WE reports that the Huge Lump of Coal appears to be on a timer. When given a 2nd lump, the snowman responds:

Blind Snowman tells you, "Ah, more coal? You are very kind, but I have all I need to refashion my eyes. It may take some time, but you have helped me enough. Here, have this back in case you lose your eyes."

Blind Snowman gives you A Huge Lump of Coal.

New Winter Orb!
Miroku Mage of TD reports: "On my way to one of the new dungeons, I saw a very large snowman. He was a level 125 Abominable Snowman. I started shooting him with a fire rend. Big mistake! He vulned me for cold and starting shooting walls and streaks (hitting me for 100+ each time). I finally switched to a CS and it took me about 5 mins to take him down. He dropped some poofy snowballs and a huge lump of coal. I ran to the snowman village and the mayor told me to give it to Elijah.

You give Elijah A Huge Lump of Coal.
Elijah tells you, "I see you have found my escaped creation. I was attempting to build a powerful defender for Snow Haven, but something went awry. Then there was the smashing and the stomping, oy the big teeth, then came the unbearable pain."
Elijah tells you, "With this Huge Lump of Coal I will attempt to reproduce the experiment in order to figure out what went so very very wrong. Don't worry I have things completely under control. Take this as a small reward for your help."

Elijah gives you Winter Orb.

Winter Orb

A frozen orb containing a swirling snow storm. A beautiful light seems to shine in the depths of the storm.
