The Altar of Asheron can be found at the bottom of Trothyr's Rest 10.3N x 54.9E. You will need a key to enter the final chamber. Buy it from the apple seller on the road between Rithwic and Cragstone 13.6N x 50.7E.

You will encounter the following creatures inside: Azure Gromnie, Black Rat, Lich, Lich Lord, Swamp Rat, Undead.

The entrance room is safe for buffing. To find your way to the Altar, head east past the surface portal until you come to a "T". Take a left through a room with some tables and chairs guarded by and Azure Gromnie then jump down to the room below. Take the west passage heading down the ramp. Use your Trothyr's Rest Key to open the door on the west wall (or use lockpick -- resistance 125).

Just ahead you'll come to a split. Take the left (south) path past a Lich until you reach a room with a Lich Lord and about 4-5 Liches. This room also contains a chest which spawns Level V gems and jewelry. After defeating the Liches, head east onto a catwalk area. Look to your right and you'll see a doorway on the east wall. You'll need to hop across (a small tapping jump). A lich is on the other side. If you miss and fall below, simply take the ramp up and around and try again. Once across, take the ramp down (NE).

You are now approaching Trothyr's Doom -- a large room with 4 alcoves, each which may contain several Liches, plus the Trothyr's Hammer and Shield. Jump into the pit to reach the Altar. Go through the east door and follow the corridor to find Asheron's Altar.

You must show Asheron your sincerity about returning to NPK status. If you have recently killed someone (within the last three hours), you will not be able to change your PK status. Some people say that if you remain PK for too long a period of time, you may never be able to reverse your evil path!! ;-)
