The Singularity Caul was updated during the Mirror, Mirror event, but Atakir's Blade didn't make an appearance until Across the Vast Divide. To reach the Caul you must be flagged by killing the Guardian of the Singularity, a level 100 Virindi found at the end of the Singularity Bore (see the Quintessence Sickle quest for details). The dungeon is restricted to levels 50+. You can also use the Singularity Caul Recall spell.

Note: The Caul is the island Bael'zharon called players to run "The Guantlet", an invitation only quest to receive an Atlan Shadow Stone and the title of Dark Master. A group of Virindi led by Levistras chose the Caul as the location to build a new Singularity before they were defeated.

The dagger is dropped by a Level 170 Zefir, Atakir, the Dark Prince (rare drop). Atakir, the Dark Prince is found on the norothern area of the Singularity Caul (reported coords: 92.5S, 93.8W). Use Lightning, Cold and Slashing for best results.
