you might be interested in what I have found on a Hea Tumerok Level 111 (named Arenua) on the new island of DM at about 50N, 74W.

Ok i went to find the guy that drops the Awakener drum.

Found him near the same area as the other guy but his name is Hea Karenua not Arenua.

He dropped the drum bow parts (which I couldn't use) and 4 Keys of which it would only let me pick up one.

The keys looked like virindi trove keys and in the neighborhood of 43.4N, 82.3W was a turmok infested Trove with Karenua's name on it. I used the trove and got some nice loot and three of the portal gems and 4 pepper jacks that i included pics of.

There is also a ring where a Turmy is asking to be defended sounds like the place to ring the bell to make the spawn come alive or defend him from the spawn.

Stormwaltz comments on a bug with the Awakener on CoD's Game Issues board.

"Basically there's a problem with the specialized check. It works fine for enchantments, but it doesn't seem to work properly for endowments (that is, targeted spells attached to and cast through a wand, orb, or stave)."

Creature Enchantment must be specialized for it to work.

The Awakener is a Tumerok Drum. It casts Nullify All Magic Other, has a Difficulty of 110, and you must have Creature Enchantment specialized to use it.

Awakener is no longer PK only! From Rosso of LC: "And concerning the Awakener -- it casts Nullify other on PKs and NPKs, but only dispels negative enchantments! Woot! Talk about your best friend on dangerous quests. It's like having unlimited dispel gems, as long as you have a friend who has creature magic specialized and lots of spare mana stones ;) It uses 500 mana a shot and only stores 1000 mana :P

The skin stretched across it, legend tells, is made from flesh of Zhuaruf, a Tumerok birthed from the union of the Hea shaman Niheaua and his own dream-spun daughter. There is an inscription around the rim which reads, "To release one's brother from the clinging threads of a hateful dream." Dispels all negative enchantments from the target.
