Although the Gift Boxes disappeared after the holidays were over, Nuhmudira's Students remained in town, continuing her research into Lifestones. Retrieve rare crystals for a reward of 2.3 million experience points! Note: During A Perfect Paradox, the student in Glenden Wood (29.8N, 27.1E) became the only student used for the quest.

Town Crier tells you, "I understand one of Nuhmudira's students in Glenden Wood is still requesting help in obtaining crystals for Nuhmudira."

Student tells you, "Hello. I am a student of Nuhmudira. Nuhmudira is still enlisting the services of Isparians in obtaining some rare compounds and crystals necessary for her research into Lifestones. Dark Tree Crystal and Valara crystal are critical to this research."

Student tells you, "If you could aid us in this endeavour we would be most grateful. To obtain Dark Tree Crystal you should go to a mine northwest of Fort Danby. Then, bring the Dark Tree Crystal to an ancient Empyrean dungeon we are using as a storage warehouse. It is located northeast of the Eotensfang Cottages settlement- you may journey there via the settlement portals near Arwic. A fellow student at that location can portal you into the facility. Give the crystal to the person overseeing the warehouse. I wish you safe tidings."

The Mine is located at 24.8N, 31.3W (restricted to levels 40+, cannot be summoned or linked), NW of Danby's Outpost. You can reach Danby's Outpost from the portal outside of Zakail at 16.7N, 1.7W.

Inside, go north and keep to your left. You'll fight Granite, Iron, Obsidian and Glacial Golems. Find the chest and retrieve the Dark Tree Crystal (4 day timer).

Take the Eotensfang settlement portal from Arwic at 32.9N, 59.4E, exiting at 41.0N, 60.7E. Talk to Lartorous, the Lugian NPC, at 42.6N, 62.4E. He'll open a portal to the warehouse for you.

Lartorus tells you, "You have some crystals to deliver? Go."

Find Aun Talamura and give him the crystal for a reward and to be flagged to enter the next portal.

Aun Talamura tells you, "Welcome to our storage facility. We are using this Empyrean place as a warehouse for crystals and materials Nuhmudira needs for her research and instructing us."
You give Aun Talamura Dark Tree Crystal.
Aun Talamura tells you, "Good, one of the students sent you. Nuhmudira requires this. Thank you."
Aun Talamura tells you, "Now if you would be willing to obtain some Valara crystal, you can find it nearby. This Empyrean facility is adjacent to another complex which is guarded by Golems. Some hold a crystal known as Valara crystal. Its properties are useful to Nuhmudira in her research. The portal to that complex is just down the corridor. Return directly here through the portal you find in the dungeon."
You've earned 600,000 experience.

Map: Warehouse Annex Mine

Take the Warehouse Annex Mine portal (levels 40+). The first two levels have Iron Golems. Glacials are on the third, with Obsidian on the fourth and fifth levels. Also on the fifth level is an Obsidian Excavation Golem. It drops the Valara Crystal. This dungeon is large and sprawling; however, if you don't mind taking a slightly longer route, you can simply hug the left wall the entire time until you reach the final room. After looting the crystal, take the north passage to reach the warehouse portal. Or you can take the exit on the 2nd level and talk to Lartorus again for access.

Lartorus tells you, "Do you wish to deliver more crystal to the storage facility? Very well."

As Phrozt of DT says, "The warehouse was ransacked!!! Aun Talamura got whip-kicked, but he still gives you 800xp when you give him the crystal."

Aun Talamura tells you, "I cannot get up yet. Did you bring Valara crystals? Nuhmudira will certainly need them now! Someone hit me from behind... The crystals have been taken, we have been robbed!"
You give Aun Talamura Valara Crystal.
Aun Talamura tells you, "Ow, my head! I was knocked down... the crystal supplies were stolen! I did not see who it was. All right, I'll take the Valara... you go through the surface portal and alert the guard. There was a student here a minute before you, I sent him there also."
You've earned 800,000 experience.

Take the surface portal as instructed to seek out Aun Talamura's attacker. However, you won't exit at the surface; you'll be in a misty mine.

Timorous says, "This is wrong. What happened?"
Timorous says, "I came from the warehouse. What is this place?"
Timorous tells you, "What is happening? This is not the right place. I just came from the warehouse. We should not have arrived here. I sense danger! Are you going further? I'm staying here!"

You'll fight Mist Golems (L75) and Nubilous Golems (L85) -- use Cold or Acid attacks. Keep NE, hugging the right wall at all times. You'll know you're making progress when the dungeon texture changes. When you reach the ledge, jump into the pit in the room to the left. Follow the maze to the end where you'll find some chests (hug the left wall). Get An unknown crystal from an ancient chest and take the surface portal to 47.9N, 1.9E. If you return to Lartorus, he instructs you to find a student.

Lartorus tells you, "Do you wish to go to the warehouse? We are not allowing anyone to enter there now until we investigate what happened. If you have crystals to deliver, bring them to one of the students in the towns."

Bring An unknown crystal back to the student in Glenden Wood for a reward! There is a 1 month and 5 days timer on the 2nd two crystals.

Student tells you, "Someone just informed me there is a problem at the warehouse. Perhaps you could go check?"
You give Student An unknown crystal.
Student tells you, "What is this? It is a crystal I do not recognize. I will make sure that it gets to Nuhmudira! Did you see what happened at the warehouse? We know not what occurred but many of the crystals that were collected for Nuhmudira are gone!"
