With the upgrades made during the Waking from the Abyss event, the rewards are better than ever!

You used to have to cough up a Welcome Letter to get started on a newbie quest. Now, just find one of the "Society Agents" in the nine nexus towns to get you on your way.

When you talk to a Society Agent, you'll receive A Book of Quests for New Explorers, detailing everything you need to know about the quests. You'll also receive a Nexus Towns Information Guide which lists portals and dungeons for all 9 Nexus towns, plus the rewards for the stamped letters!

Lord Aleval tells you, "I have been contracted by the Dereth Exploration Society to help them in their outreach program towards the Isparians who find themselves newly exiled in Dereth. Here is a book that explains their mission. I am also giving you a list describing the locations of the nearest stamp and portals to other towns. If you collect any of the Society's stamped letters, you may bring them back to me for a reward."

Each of the nexus towns has a Town Stamp which can be found in a local dungeon. Use the stamp on either a Lucky Gold Letter or a Scarlet Red Letter. When you return a Stamped Letter to a Society Agent in a neighboring town, you'll receive a reward!

Lord Aleval gives you An Explorer Leather Girth.
Lord Aleval tells you, "Thank you, you must have journeyed far to get here. You are a true Explorer!"

Note: You can no longer receive rewards for turning in letters to a town of the same heritage.

Letters are easy to obtain. They'll be dropped as loot from common Dereth creatures. Scarlet Red Letters are found on low level Drudges, Gnawer and Carrion Shreths, Young Banderlings, Banderling Scouts and Wasps. The Gold Letters are dropped less frequently than the Red Letters, and have been found on Drudge Prowlers, Creeper Mosswarts, Red Drone Wasps, and Green Wasps, among others.

You can also receive Red and Gold Letters as prizes from one of the three Casinos!

Before you turn your Stamped Letter in, take a closer look! There will be an extra page added to it with various sayings from members of the Exploration Society.

The Town Stamps and the Stamped Letters may not be given; however, the Letters and the Rewards may be given.The Town Stamps are one use only and are on a 24 hour quest timer.

Red Letters will give you either AL: 100 Leather Society Armor, a Society Wand, or a Society Weapon with Level II spells. Gold Letters will give you the better Explorer Loot with Level III spells!

Note: The Agent who gives the Yumi will also give an Atlatl if you hand the Yumi back.
