Hidden Cavern - 37.9S, 65.5W
Levels 80+
Map:
Hidden Cavern
Text: The
Mirror
Tom reports: "The new dungeon in the valley is restricted to level 80+
players. All I saw inside were Drudges Seraphs. There are dispell traps all
over that will strip level 7's off of you. I had to recall before I could do
any real exploring. :-)"
Tigrou of FF encountered this fellow:
Scrum, Drudge Seraph Mystic tells you, "You have entered the halls of Scrum,
Mystic of the Drudge Seraph. Kneel before Scrum!"
Scrum, Drudge Seraph Mystic tells you, "You are not worthy of the air that
mighty Scrum breathes! Scrum has been touched by the beast of thirteen
floating eyes. Scrum now enacts the will of the beast of thirteen floating
eyes. The purge of the natural order begins with the Banderling. Too long have
we, the drudge been subject to their wangas. Scrum now leads the Drudge
Seraph, and Dnaraag shall be brought low! Such is the will of the beast of
thirteen floating eyes."
Thomas Matthew - FF reports: "I ran into a
Drudge Seraph Mystic (level 165) who dropped a Glittering Key on death. No
clue what the key does. Another part of the dungeon is filled with Bandy
Paragons, I didn't stay in that part long.
Decipher of SC, Scandal of SC and Gogeta-son
of SC have discovered a bone door with 9999 difficulty!
Frye of FF sends the following:
This text is from the NPC behind the Bone Door of the Hidden Cavern.
Harraag, Banderling Champion tells you, "I, Harraag.
Forgive words not mine, I make them best I can. We wanga here. It our homes
and Drudge try steal. Most smart Drudge become. Not like home, old home.
Dnaraag chieftain, wants safe place for tribe. Find this home. No peace here.
Only Wanga."
Harraag, Banderling Champion tells you, "Drudge grow smarter. Drudge make
better wanga. Gods shine not on banderlings. Wanga goes poorly. The drudge not
natural."
Update from Gogeta-son of SC:
This quest or place is very hard. Two fellows
went in and 4 people made it out. The three people posted including me are the
only ones who made it past the bandys. The end is pointless on that side. We
couldnt find anything and we tried everything. DONT TOUCH THE
ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you touch the rocks bandys spawn like crazy! Coords
are the same to the Hidden Cavrens.
To make it to the end I suggest running fast
past everything till you run into the bone door (bandy side) then lure 1 by 1
each bandy. (Turn left at the first pile of rocks.) Drudges shoot tons of lightning and acid. I've died 7 times on
this quest and looked around for 5 hours. I left 2 bodies at the end because
it was too hard to get back to them. I hope this quest/place has some type of
meaning and that the meaning comes out soon...it better be good lol.
Thanks for posting my pic with my friends =)
(LOL they call me a hero for being on ur website) ur site is great. My last
pic is of the end Monster of the bandy side. One more thing...At the end of
the drudge side go WEST not south, or east. Pick up the shard on the ground
and take it to Zakil to get a book called "Mirror". Thanks again and GL with
the rest of this.
~Gogeta-son of SC~
You give Diyas al-Yat
Obsidian Shard.
Diyas al-Yat tells you, "Your continued trafficking with
forces beyond your ken could earn you a hearty bit of trouble. I've translated
this for you, but would rather see you destroy it, than keep it."
Diyas al-Yat gives you The Mirror.
Hi Maggie,
Just wanted to post a screenshot of the Drudge NPC in the new VoD dungeon. He
made me kneel infront of him, no kidding. I couldn't do anything, the "kneel"
emote was forced. It was so embarassing. After i kneeled i talked to him he
started shooting warspells at our fellow, but we couldn't attack him. Tried to
give the Obsidian Shard to the every translator, but it didn't work for me
*shrug*.
Have a great weekend,
Aldis Rache of Thistledown.
From Shadowcouncil of MT:
Holy bajeezus.
OK we made it through the new dungeon 4 times or so getting bodies then a
buddy died recalling out so we figured we should take a party back in to get
his body ..
HAHAHAHA
We started this journey at 10 pm est, and decided to give it up at 4:30 am
est.
Anyway, I haven't had this much fun in years, in AC. I was actually challenged
by the game tonight, overly challenged. And I could care less if there is a
reward for doing it. If you feel you can do anything, bring one fellow of 9
people and try to make it to the bottom of the drudge side of the new dungeon.
Just don't bring anything that you can't afford to lose =D.
There are 2 sides to the dungeon and tons of ways to do it.
When you are trying to get there, use the VOD back door portal and run north
until the clearing opens then head west and sw until you can run up the
mountain. When you run up you will head North again and jump off into more VoD
critters and haul butt to the new dungeon
37.9, 65.6
When you enter the drop will be clear. Don't be tempted to walk into that
hallway.
It will draw level 160 drudges and level 160 banderlings.
Bane everything but light and acid and buff everything else.
Ok to do the Drudge side (since I know it so well now).
You will need to hug left side of wall. Once you get to the flat level, you
will hug the left wall. Move maybe 1 body length forward and stop, then jump
to the right (see 1st pic) or you will hit a trap and dispell all your level
7's.
There is a pile of rocks there (in picture) do not touch them or they will
spawn a massive spawn of 4 or 5 level 150 drudges.
Then you will go to the right but stop there. You will need to hug the left
side of the wall so you don't set of the rocks in front of you.
This will lead you to an unlocked door with 3 seraphs and 1 mystic in it.
OK you need to start searching the mystics for a glittering key to open the
sealed
door.
This is also a really darn good place to buff since only 1 mystic and 2
seraphs spawn here.
This will lead you to the room with a Virindi Statue.
After you kill the 8 or so drudges you will need to go straight across and
straight down this will lead you to another room with the exact same look
and a door behind a virindi statue.
Open that door and go through.
There will be a few drudges in that hall then it curves and you will see
Scrum.
Not to sure what to do with this guy. There are 8 or so drudges in this
hall/room, but you can hit them through the windows with bow or spells easily.
You will know what I'm talking about when you get there.
I just had a blast doing it, even though we aren't quite sure what we are
supposed to do when we finish it.
