From the Mirror, Mirror event.

Town Crier tells you, "They say in the Sho city that's rumored to have been an Aluvian settlement a great warrior removed his armor and left to find himself again."

Town Crier tells you, "I've heard tell that a great warrior lost his way in the wilderness. I've also heard tell that he found his way again. It's said that his journey began in a place that bore two names."

This quest allows you to explore the Sho culture. As the rumors suggest, begin in Tou-Tou -- a town with two names, rumored to have once been an Aluvian Settlement. Speak to Han-Rin Jo, Joji Adherent at the bar (
28.0S, 95.5E). He'll tell you about Honshu Takeda will start you on your path.

Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "Sit, Please."
Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "In my life, I have seen a great many wonders that have challenged my beliefs, and driven me near the edge of forsaking all that I had known. But in Jojii, I have found the virtuous path."
Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "Not so long ago, another came to me. He was as accomplished as you, more so perhaps. What he had accomplished is not as important as what he had learned."
Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "His name is Honshu Takeda, and he has begun to learn about himself and the way of Jojii. He had lost his way, and I have set him back upon his path. He will follow the shrines to Jojii. The first lies within this very town, just beyond those doors between the trees."
Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "His journey will end in Kara. Much wisdom can be garnered by following the path and incorporating the lessons of the four stones in your actions."
Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "Should you wish to follow in his steps, seek the shrine and pray as I am sure he has done."

You'll find the shrine outside at 28.3S, 95.8E. Double-click the scrawled note next to it for further instructions.

Rumor: Scrawled Note

In the note, Honshu Takeda speaks of the emptiness of his life and his search for meaning. He mentions where his journey began, in the arrival hall of Nanto. Follow Honshu's path by speaking to Ikomi Ra, Jojii Adherent in Nanto at 49.1S, 81.7E.

Ikomi Ra, Jojii Adherent tells you, "I have met the man you seek, this Honshu Takeda. He is a good man. He will find his way back to the path of right living. I have sent him to seek grace at the shrine in Sawato. Perhaps if you pray, as he likely did, at the shrine you will see grace as well."

Next, head to the Shrine in Sawato at 28.7S, 59.2E. To reach Sawato, you can take the Chi Zhou settlement portal from Shoushi at 31.3S, 72.6E. As you meditate, you'll notice a note (double-click on the shrine).

As you sit and pray at the small shrine you see a small note resting on the top. You take the note.

Rumor: Unicorn's Grace

Again, follow in the footsteps of Honshu Takeda and seek out the cave to the south.

--Dungeon: Unicorn's Grace - 38.0S, 60.2E - Levels 35+

Map: Jojii Dungeons

The dungeon is full of Banderling Strikers, Bezerkers and Rogues. Once inside, keep to the right until you come to a ramp down. On the other side of the door you'll find Crystal Formations. Take a cluster of the Crystals of Grace, then read the note nearby for the next step of your journey.

You amass a small collection of crystals that link together, looking much like sollerets. They crystals come apart as easily as they can be put together.

Rumor: Unicorn's Cavern

The Crystals are on a 1 month timer. If you try to collect more than one, you'll get:

The crystals that you collected within the past month have not reformed. Perhaps if you wait just a short while longer you will be able to find more.

Your next destination is the forest town of Lin. Once there, you'll find another shrine located at 54.3S, 73.1E with another note.

As you sit and pray at the small shrine you see a small note resting on the top. You take the note.

Rumor: Firebird's Splendor

--Dungeon: Firebird's Splendor - 53.6S, 66.7E - Levels 35+. May be summoned or recalled.

Map: Jojii Dungeons

The dungeon is full of Skeleton Bone Knights, Bone Lords and Ashen Bones. Once inside, take the south passage, head down the ramp and make a left. Keep to the right until you reach a dead end with 2 grated room. Turn in the opposite direction and find the room with 2 grates, and a non-grated exit to the south. Take the south passage, and again keep to your right until you reach a wooden door. Once through the wooden door, you'll see another wooden door. Go over the ramps, then make a right at the T (the portal is on the left) and down the stairs to the lava area. In the center of the lava is a rocky structure. Double click to retrieve the Rock of Splendor.

The rocks appear to be too large to carry. However, as you search through them you see one that has been formed into a perfectly smooth sphere, about the size of an orb.

Rumor: Stone of the Firebird

Next, head to Kara and find Miko Li, Jojii Adherent, in the tavern at 83.3S, 47.2E. To reach Kara you can take the South Shore Heights settlement portal from Baishi at 54.6S, 62.7E or the Scimitar Lake Cottages settlement portal from Qalaba'r at 74.8S, 17.8E. Expect a run from either.

Miko Li, Jojii Adherent tells you, "You seek the power of the dragon, as did Honshu. Very well. I shall tell you were he was sent. In the valley, across the stretch of land, and water. Through the hills that bite, atop the crest where the sun sets, there is a portal into the place where the Dragon's flame smolders in a basin of metal. Honshu went there to find the Dragon's power."
Miko Li, Jojii Adherent tells you, "Go there and find the strength that I hope he found."

--Dungeon: Dragon's Power - 82.3S, 41.4E - Levels 35+. May be recalled.

Map: Jojii Dungeons

The creatures you'll encounter inside the dungeon are Revenants, plus Greater and Dark Revenants, Dark Leeches and Dark Magus. From the entrance, hug the left wall until you find the ramp down to the east. You'll go through a few rooms, then up a ramp. At the top of the ramp, hug the left wall until you go down again and over a series of ramps. At the next intersection make a left to the final room. Double click on the Smoldering Brazier to get a Brazier of Power.

Rumor: Journey's End

Once you have your three objects, you need to find Honshu Takeda himself! From Mayoi, take the Xinh settlement portal at 60.8S, 80.3E. You'll exit at 78.4S, 60.2E, just a short run from Honshu at 77.7S, 59.2E.

Honshu Takeda tells you, "You have done well to find the power of the Dragon."
Honshu Takeda tells you, "You have done well to find the power of the Firebird."
Honshu Takeda tells you, "You have traveled the same path as I, and learned the lessons of the great spirits. Now you must know how they fit together."

Honshu Takeda tells you, "The base is the Dragon's power. The grace of the Unicorn must be spread within. The splendor of the Firebird can be placed atop the combination of strength and grace but...only with pure water that represents the four stones and the path of Jojii can you bring the object to life."
Honshu Takeda tells you, "Here, take this."

Honshu Takeda gives you Pure Water.
Honshu Takeda tells you, "The water can be used to waken the combined spirit of the three, or to awaken the strength of just one. I would advise against waking just one. There is little that can be finished that is not complete."
Honshu Takeda tells you, "You have completed your journey. Allow time for the teachings to be set within your being. If within one month you are still without direction, follow my path again, and I shall teach the steps anew."

If you don't want the font, you can choose to use the water on one of the three objects for either the Orb of Splendor, the Sollerets of Grace or the Shield of Power.

As the water pours over the brazier it hardens into a shield with a symbol of the dragon at its center.

For the completed font, combine the Brazier of Power with the Crystals of Grace, then combine the resulting object with the Rock of Splendor. Use the Pure Water on the Power, Grace and Splendor combo for a completed Font of Jojii!

You sprinkle the crystals into the basin, preparing them for the perfect stone.
You place the stone atop the crystals and are filled with a warm feeling. It is missing one final element.
You pour the water over the crystals and a magical change takes place.

The Font of Jojii can be placed on a yard or floor hook. When used by a player who has completed the quest, it casts the following on you:

You have reached an enlightened state.
Font of Jojii cast Splendor of the Firebird on you
Font of Jojii cast Grace of the Unicorn on you
Font of Jojii cast Power of the Dragon on you

(+2 to Focus, Coordination and Strength for a duration of 2 hours and may be layered)

If you haven't completed the quest and try to use the Font, you'll receive the following message:

You fail to reach an enlightened state.

Note: You become flagged to use a hooked Font of Jojii when Honshu Takeda gives you the Pure Water. You don't actually need to create anything with the items to use the Font, just as long as you have actually received the Water. (Thanks to Luntari LoreSeeker for info!)

All items, including the water, are on a 1 month timer.

If you speak to Han Rin-Jo again after completing the quest, you'll receive random words of wisdom!

Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "The journey of the obstinate is to find the will to become as pliable as the reed in the riverbed."

Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "Seek what you know and discover what you shall."

Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "Seek the truth of Jojii. His teaching can be found in every aspect of life. To follow his words is to walk the right way in life."

Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "There is no grace in the bull. Passion is the way of the poet, not wisdom. Ignorance is a shield that protects none."

Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "The narrow path allows all who walk upon it to attain balance."

Han Rin-Jo, Jojii Adherent tells you, "Within the bounds of grace lies the wisdom to know strength."
