Homecoming Pennant

The Homecoming Pennant is a one time quest for players who were in the game at the time Asheron left Dereth after the defeat of the Ancient Olthoi Queen. When logging into the game after the update, players were greeted with the following message:

The High Queen has deemed that all citizens of Dereth be awarded a pennant!
Make sure that you have free space in your pack and speak to Jalina al-Hajj of Al-Arqas.

To reach Al-Arqas take the portal from Yaraq at 22.8S, 0.7W. You can also use an Al-Arqas portal gem from a master mage to help lower level characters make the trip! When you arrive, visit Jalina al-Hajj at 31.1S, 13.9E.

Jalina al-Hajj tells you, "The High Queen has commissioned me to create a pennant for all Isparians currently upon Dereth. Asheron himself has provided the device - the heraldry of his family. I am told that this is in honor of our continued bravery and heroics. He and the High Queen have decided that he no longer needs to watch over us, and now Asheron may return to his home."
Jalina al-Hajj tells you, "Take this pennant and display it proudly! But be warned that I am only commissioned to provide you with this once."

Pennants come in a variety of colors and are emblazoned with the symbol of the Knorr Lyceum. The color pennant you receive is random. If you try and get more than one you will receive the following message:

Jalina al-Hajj tells you, "I have already provided you with a pennant. Display it proudly!"

If your character wasn't already existing in Dereth at the time of the patch (created before January 2004), you will not be able to get a pennant and will receive the following message:

Jalina al-Hajj tells you, "I am sorry, friend. I have only the materials to provide pennants to those who were already on Dereth when Asheron returned home. I am sure that you will find other ways to show your courage and honor."

Pennant, like Flags, may be hooked on roof or yard hooks.

	Homecoming Pennant
This pennant is a gift from the High Queen and Ahseron to those who were present in Dereth during his homecoming. It is emblazoned with Asheron's seal - the sigil of the Realadain family and of the Lyceum at Knorr. You can use this pennant on roof and yard hooks.
