During the Heart of Woe event, Town Criers told news of a crazy Tumerok who tried to pull a "Mom, he followed me home! Can I keep him?" about an Olthoi!!!

Town Crier tells you, "Ahurenga Tumeroks recently ran a crazy Tumerok out of town. I think he lured an olthoi into town."
Town Crier tells you, "Did you hear about the crazy Tumerok who rides olthoi? I think he should start a road show where he does various olthoi riding tricks."

To hear more head to Ahurenga on Marae Lassel and speak to Hea Mutuona at 47.1N, 90.3W. To loosen his tongue, purchase a mug of ale from the barkeep Hea Camauri first.

To reach Ahurenga, head to Holtburg from take the portal to Redspire at 42.5N, 31.1E. From Redspire hop through the N Ahurenga Plains portal at 41.0N, 83.6W, a short run away.

Hea Mutuona tells you, "You haven't heard the story, human? Fetch me an ale, and I'll tell you."
You give Hea Mutuona Ale.
Hea Mutuona tells you, "That hits the spot. So, Tekapuapuh. He's this melon-headed buhka -- an idiot boy. Goes out for his first hunt alone, and finds one of those death-bringer Wharu."
Hea Mutuona tells you, "'Cept he calls it 'Putiputi!' It's no ladybug! I still remember it... he comes into town, RIDING the Wharu. Nearly flattened the center of Ahurenga."

Hea Mutuona tells you, "He's puh now -- outcast. Lives on the tip of the delta out west of here. I hope he stays there. Anyway, thanks for the ale, human."
Hea Mutuona says, "That melon-headed buhka. Riding a Wharu into the center of town. I still can't believe it!"

Tekapuapuh
To see the outcast Tumerok and his pet Putiputi for yourself, head west to 46.4N, 91.5W. You'll find Tekapuapuh standing next to a small fenced yard, complete with lawn gnome and an Olthoi Grub! When you speak to him, you'll find that his grub is hungry for some special food, the "onga" that can be found in the dungeon where Tekapuapuh discovered the grub. Bring back lunch for Putiputipuh and Tekapuapuh will reward you by crafting a bow from various artifacts retrieved from the dungeon.

Tekapuapuh says, "No, Putiputipuh! Bad Putiputipuh!"
Tekapuapuh tells you, "Oh, man! You can help me! My beloved Putiputipuh, she's not happy. She needs special onga from where I found her!"
Tekapuapuh tells you, "I dropped my stuff in the hidey hole where I found her. It's all the way to the east, straight east from here, right until you hit a BIIIG wall."
Tekapuapuh tells you, "I set up a magic portal to the hidey-hole. Here, I'll give you the password."

Tekapuapuh gives you Tekapuapuh's Note.

Tekapuapuh tells you, "Thanks for your help!"
Tekapuapuh says, "I was all itchy before, but now I'm better!"
Tekapuapuh says, "They call me a 'melon-headed buhka,' but that's just because they're jealous of my mask!"
Tekapuapuh says, "Look, she did a trick! Good Putiputipuh! You're such a very smart Putiputi!"

Rumor: Tekapuapuh's Note

(When you click on the grub, it will just ignore you: The grub rustles, but otherwise ignores you.)

Secret Putiputipuh Place
As Tekapuapuh's note instructs, head to the Secret Putiputi Place at 46.3N, 82.1W. The dungeon is restricted to levels 20+.

If you are not high enough in level you'll get the following response:
Tekapuapuh tells you," If only you where a little stronger you could help me and my putiputipuh!"

Inside you'll fight through 4 sections, retrieving 3 Mysterious Artifacts from Olthoi Cisterns, and a message from a 4th Cistern. After each section, you'll need to destroy glowing pustules until you trigger the one which opens a portal into the next section.

Section 1
Map: Secret Putiputi Place - Parts 1 & 2

When you enter the first section, you'll be in a room with several Olthoi Grubs (Level 18) which are feeding on a dead Olthoi corpse. As you follow the corridor, you'll fight your way past Olthoi Nymphs (L32), Workers (L53), Drones (L35) and Soldiers (L61). All the Olthoi in the dungeon are a creepy pale white color. You'll eventually come to a room with Grubs, Workers and about 9 blue sac-like Olthoi Cisterns. One of the cisterns contains the first Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.

Note: You can use your examine key to identify which cistern is "Unlocked."

Using the Cisterns triggers more Olthoi to spawn. You'll receive the following messages:
You feel around in the warm slime for a bit. This one seems to be empty.
Something slimy grips your hand and then quickly releases it.

Once you have your first artifact, continue in the dungeon until you find a room with Glowing Pustules. When you use a pustule, you'll get a message that hints at what you need to do:

A glow emits from the top of a cistern on the other side of the room then quickly fades.

Destroy the pustules until you trigger the portal at the opposite side of the room. Jump through it to the second section. The portal spawning pustules will always trigger the portal each time you kill it.

A section of the floor boils up producing a large glowing pustule.
The pustule explodes, spraying you with it's rank fluids.
The Pustule shudders, then bursts. You have opened a gateway portal!

Section 2
Map: Secret Putiputi Place - Parts 1 & 2

From the entrance of part 2, keep to the left
until you go through a series of toxic green doorways into the cistern room. From section two forward, numerous floor triggers spawn Olthoi throughout. In addition to the earlier Olthoi, you'll also be fighting Harvesters. Lag can be brutal. Turn down your graphics to help.

Toxic air singes your lungs for 2 points of damage!

Again kill the Olthoi and find the cistern which contains the second Mysterious Tumerok Artifact. Head back through the doorways and keep left again until you find the pustule room. Kill them until you spawn the portal.

Section 3
Map: Secret Putiputi Place - Part 3

For section three, take either passage and head east until you find the large open room. Head down and look for the opening at the bottom of the pillar. Follow the ramp, keeping straight. Bear south and then up a ramp into the big open cistern room. The far east pit contains the cistern with the third Mysterious Tumerok Artifact. After you're done fighting in this room, it will look like a giant can of RAID exploded!

The pustule room for this section is on the same level as the cisterns. The pustule you need is in a second pustule room, adjacent to the first. The portal will spawn in the room to the north.

Section 4
Map: Secret Putiputi Place - Part 4

The cisterns in the fourth section are in a large open space below a ledge riddled with passages. Unlike the previous three cistern room, you are not looking for an artifact. Instead, you are looking for a cistern which gives you the following message when you open it:

As you reach into the cistern, your hand begins to itch. The sensation dies down after a moment.

This message flags you to be able to feed Tekapuapuh's grub. Once you've received the message, you need to find Putiputipuh's onga, which are apples lying on the ground next to a backpack.

Head back up to the ledge and take the west passage, then south. You should find the apples on the ground in a room with some Olthoi Grubs. Once you have your apples, return to Tekapuapuh. In one of the passages near the apple room you will find a portal which takes you directly to him!!

Panaq
If you try to hand the artifacts to the Tumerok before feeding his grub, they will be returned to you.

You give Tekapuapuh Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.
Tekapuapuh tells you, "Oh, my poor Putiputipuh! It makes me feel so bad!"
Tekapuapuh gives you Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.

You give Tekapuapuh Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.

Tekapuapuh tells you, "Oh, my poor Putiputipuh! She is so sad!"
Tekapuapuh gives you Mysterious Tumerok Artifact
.
You give Tekapuapuh Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.

Tekapuapuh tells you, "Oh, my poor Putiputipuh! Nothing else matters!"
Tekapuapuh gives you Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.

Putiputipuh whines, so softly and at so high a pitch you can bearly hear it.

If you talk to Tekapuapuh first, he'll tell you that you need to feed the grub. You'll receive 25,000 xp in return. And it's fun!

Tekapuapuh tells you, "Did you go to the hidey-hole! I think I left my onga near one of the bubble-pots there! Those onga are the only thing Putiputipuh will eat!"
You give Tekapuapuh Apple.
Tekapuapuh tells you, "You got the onga! I'll let you feed Putiputipuh all by yourself! It's fun!"
Tekapuapuh gives you Apple.
You give Putiputipuh Apple.
As you reach out with the apple, the grub emits a faint, high-pitched whine. You feel something squirming under your skin, along your arm and into the apple.
The grub happily devours the apple, swallowing it core and all.

Tekapuapuh squeals with delight. "You did it! Putiputipuh's happy again! Thank you thank you thank you!"
You've earned 25,000 experience.

If you try to feed the grub the artifacts, you'll find it isn't interested!

You allow Putiputipuh to examine your Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.
Putiputipuh stares (if you can call it that) at the artifact for a moment.
Then stops.
You allow Putiputipuh to examine your Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.
Putiputipuh rubs up against the artifact, then ignores it.

You allow Putiputipuh to examine your Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.
Putiputipuh idly nibbles at the artifact.

Note: If you have not been flagged by the cistern in the 4th section, you will not be able to complete the quest.

You give Putiputipuh Apple.
The grub seems to sniff the air, but doesn't eat.

Tekapuapuh sighs. "Hmm. I remember washing my hands in those splashy-bubble-pots, before feeding her an onga. Maybe your hands are dirty."

Once the grub has his tummy full, you can then give Tekapuapuh the tumerok artifacts. You'll receive the Panaq, a bow, in return.

Tekapuapuh tells you, "If you find the pieces I left behind, I'll put my old Panaq together for you!"
You give Tekapuapuh Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.
Tekapuapuh tells you, "Not this! First I need Pah!"
Tekapuapuh gives you Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.

You give Tekapuapuh Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.

Tekapuapuh tells you, "It's the Pah! You don't know what do with this? Silly buhka! I'll help you then. Bring me Ahna next."
You give Tekapuapuh Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.
Tekapuapuh tells you, "See, Ahna fits into Pah like this--er, something like that. More or less. Um. Now I need Naq!"
You give Tekapuapuh Mysterious Tumerok Artifact.
Tekapuapuh tells you, "And then Naq goes into Ahna like, um... This! And
here you go! Thanks again for your help!"

Tekapuapuh gives you Panaq.

The Panaq is no-give. You may apply Ivory to it or use it on a housing hook! The timer for picking up the artifacts and feeding the grub is 7 days.
