During the
Heart of Woe
event, the town of Wai Jhou received three new residents, Caelis Renning the
Timberman, Kreavon the Miner and Aun Teverea the Trapper. When you speak with
them, you discover the Isparion, Lugian and Tumerok have become part of a new
alliance. These three alliance members have been assigned to Wai Jhou to collect
building materials for a new stronghold in the Direlands!
To reach Wai Jhou, head to
Zaikhal and take the Danby's Outpost portal at 16.7N, 1.6W.
At the Portal drop (23.2N, 29.9W) run East along the
beach to the Desert March Portal at 22.9N, 28.8W. Dodge the
Tumeroks, Drudges and Hollows and take the
Black Hill Portal in the bottom of dungeon (simply hug the
right wall all the way down). You'll exit at 62.4S, 52.3W. Take the Small
Black Hill portal at 62.1S, 52.3W exiting at 62.1S,
50.4W. Then take the Small Hill Base portal at 62.1S,
50.4W, exiting at 62.0S, 50.0W. Wai
Jhou is a few clicks away at 61.8S, 51.3W.

Caelis Renning, Kreavon,
and Aun Teverea are inside a tent at 62.3S,
51.4W. When you speak to them you'll find that they are
looking for salvage. Caelis Renning wants metal or wood. Aun Teverea is looking
for cloth or hides, and finally, Kreavon is seeking stones or gems.
See the
Tinkering
section for details on how to salvage.
Caelis Renning tells you,
"Hail friend, my name is Caelis. The Aluvian, Sho, and Gharun'dim peoples united
under Queen Elyssa have joined together to form the Isparian third of the new
alliance."
Caelis Renning tells you, "We have been assigned to this outpost near Wai Jhou,
to collect building materials for the new stronghold, Candeth Keep. Construction
has already begun on Candeth Keep in the southern Direlands desert! I will
accept all types of salvaged metal and wood that you can afford to donate to the
cause. Large or small, poor or priceless, your donations will be treated
equally."
Aun Teverea tells you, "Hello Isparian, my name is Aun
Teverea. All Tumeroks in the xuta of Aun Hareltah have been invited to join the
new alliance."
Aun Teverea tells you, "We have been assigned to this outpost near Wai Jhou, to
collect building materials for the new stronghold, Candeth Keep. Construction

cause. Large or small, poor or priceless, your donations will be treated
equally."

will be treated equally, they mean that they will count the individual bags of
salvage you turn in, regardless of the quantity or quality of the salvage. When
you've reached the half way point, you'll receive a town stamp! When you've
turned in the full amount they're looking for (100 bags), you'll be rewarded with a title
token!

alliance member and you will get a hat in return!
Note: Salvage hats may
be dyed!

you get a hard hat? You can't be mining with that fragile skull of yours without
some head protection. Take this and be sure to wear it when you are mining."
Kreavon gives you Miner's Hat.
You give Caelis Renning [salvage].
Caelis Renning tells you,
