Introduced during Treaties in Stone, the Bound Singularity Weapons are and update of the Singularity Weapons. They can be altered further into Ultimate Singularity Weapons.

A report from Virindi Inquisitor of TD: "Hi! The new dungeon seen in the teaser pic is called "Black Dominion", level 25+. It's located at 88.6S 25.9W near the drop from Mayoi to south dires. The top of the dungeon has altered drudges and as you continue down you meet Virindi Observers and Terberous Hollow Minions in good quantity. At the bottom there is a room filled with blue crystals, a few SIK chests and a blue Virindi NPC ("Virindi Castaway", level 11) that asks you to hand him a Singularity weapon for an upgrade. From what I can tell you need lockpick to get to the bottom, there is a 40 resistance locked door. The SIK chests don't seem to hold anything significant."

Report (credit unknown): "I have included with this email screenshots of the sing quest. After getting your fresh blue singularity weapon you must now go to the black dominion to get your weapon bound first, which turns the weapon purple, and then take it to the martinate holding which upgrades it into its ultimate form, and green. The stats on the blue sword show buffed, unbuffed its 22-40 +7 melee +7 attack.

I am sending this mail a 2nd time for info I left out, as I was pretty excited to finish it as I think I am the first to do it legit...

First of all I got my fresh blue singularity sword the normal way and took it to martinate holding, where the end NPC said he didnt know what to do with this. I called an envoy to make sure that it was not a bug, and the envoy told me I simply skipped a step that was added with the patch. I told him about the person that got the ultimate dagger and they said that might have been a bug and are looking into it. The dominion dungeon is packed full of virindi, I found myself almost getting overwhelmed towards the end and I am a level 120, just bring plenty of kits and healing potions. Handing it to the npc makes it bound, changes it to purple, and then you are free and flagged to take it to the holding for the final Ultimate upgrade. I can say that the sword works extremely well on virindi, using a buffed fire rend I was hitting for around 25 damage on Executors, using my Ultimate Singularity Sword with just the buffs that comes on it, I took out an executor in 2 swings, 145 damage critical one hit, dead the next. All in all I love these new weapons!"

Dungeon tips from Daniel N: "I found a mage name of Rhaza in the new upgrade dungeon and we teamed up for the run. We found the pit you jump into (we approached from the east), but you MUST be careful here unless you have high melee D as there are about 6 or more hollows on the pit floor. I made a long power jump and found that the floor is actually 2 lvls. My mage companion landed in the bottom lvl and died in just a few seconds. He lost his sing weapon on death but we decided to go to the end anyways. You should aim for the far side of the room when you jump in (ESE) and get in a corner. Clear the shelf and shoot the stuff below you in the depression .. or hop in and slice and dice.

Head out of this room to the east. Watch for a ramp down to your left. You'll hop in there, then have to jump into a few smaller chambers, each a short drop with easy kills. It actually gets easier the further down you go here. We found the NPC, and I handed him my sword ..."
