Part of the Aerlinthe
Quest After the adventurers quelled the three invasions at the volcanoes, they thought more about the message given to them during the assault on Tenkarrdun: "But, from the base of the mountains slopes, you hear the whisper of falling ash, and the clacking of petrified bones...." More exploring led them back to the Abandoned Town, home to many undead. Upon arrival, they discovered that the town had been overrun by an unusual number of Relic Bones and Firestorms. A vicious battle for control of the town took place, and eventually, like the other 3 invasions, a single Relic Bone was found to be the leader. As it attempted to escape from its attacker, it opened a portal to a hidden keep on Aerlinthe! Alas, it was too late. At its death, the following message was broadcast to the surrounding area: Just before [insert name] scatters the petrified bones across the ash of the port, it attempts to cast a portal to retreat! The ancient port of Aerlinthe is peaceful again... or at least as peaceful as it ever gets. But where does the portal lead? Surely it will not last long! With the death of the Relic Bone, the Aerlinthe quest resets for the next group of adventurers. A new trophy, the Ring Of The Watchman, was found on the corpse of the defeated Relic Bone. The Ring casts Person Attunement IV and Deception Mastery IV. Its difficulty is 150 and your Creature Enchantment skill must be 170 or greater to activate the spells. The Ring can be both dropped and given away.
