The augmentation gems are designed for high level characters who have maxed out their skills, yet still have billions of unused experience points. To begin, speak to Fiun Rehlyun at the Fiun Outpost. To reach the outpost, take the portal from Sanamar at 76.6N, 58.6W.

NPC: Fiun Rehlyun - 95.7N, 57.1W

Fiun Rehlyun tells you, "You wish to improve yourself? Enhance those abilities which might otherwise languish? Return to me the Jaw of the Insatiable. Prove yourself."

Insatiable Vault - 97.6N, 48.0W
--Map: Insatiable Vault
--Levels: 125+
--Item: Insatiable Eater Jaw
--Creatures: Insatiable Eater (vulnerable to slashing)

To reach the Vault, you can run from the Outpost or take the Eastwatch portal from Sanamar (71.2N, 61.3W). From the drop, jump down and head west. At the 4 way, go left. At the split go left again, then at the T, take a right or left and follow the ramp down to the north.

Head up a ramp and take a right, then make a left down another ramp. Jump below; melees first!

At the bottom, go west and down to the left. At the T, go right and up a ramp, then jump into the pit. At the T go left, then at the next T go right. You should now be in the area where the jaw dropping eaters are. Two eaters at each end of the north and south corners of this area will drop a jaw. When everyone in your group has one, return to the Fiun Outpost and hand it to Fiun Rehlyun.

You give Fiun Rehlyun Insatiable Eater Jaw.
Fiun Rehlyun tells you, "One who obtains such as this is truly worthy of that which we would teach. The highest peak of the deadliest isle contains that which you seek."
Fiun Rehlyun closes its eyes and whispers. You feel a subtle vibration within your chest for but a moment, then it is gone.

Next you'll head to the Augmentation Realm at 95.0N, 47.1W. It's best if someone has a tie to this dungeon. Even with a tie, the drop is incredibly hot and the monsters are so thick dial-up uses can only pray for luck. To reach the dungeon by foot, look for the broken shadow spire at 93.4N, 44.6W. Behind the spire lies the entrance to the deadly eater valley at approximately 92.7N, 47.1W.

Augmentation Realm Higher Level - 95.0N, 47.1W

--Creatures: Ruschk Kartak, Ruschk Sadist, Small Magma Golem, Entropy Wisp

From the drop, head down the slope and take the east passage heading right. Watch out for Lightning Traps! When you reach the Small Magma Golem area, you'll be looking for the portal to the Augmentation Realm Lower Level.

Head north, then down. At the south tower room, jump below (melees first). Head through the Eater Room, go up the stairs and across the catwalk. Go down the spiral staircase then take a right at the split. Any of the portals in this room will take you to the main level.

Augmentation Realm Main Level

--Creatures: Twisted Shadow, Viamontian Lord, Viamontian Tribune, Sir Bellas

Head west to the door, then take the north passage heading up. Jump down to the door section then take the NW door. Head down, and at the T take a right, then a right again down the ramp. You'll enter the Viamontian area. Head around west to the pit them jump down. Fight through the Lords to reach Sir Bellas. Kill him and retrieve a Blank Augmentation Gem from his corpse.

Timer: 30 Days

Take the Blank Gem to any of the Augmentation Trainers for the gem of your choice.

Note: If you choose wrong, you can exchange it with the Augmentation Trainers before you use it.

Ilin Wis tells you, "Bring me a blank augmentation gem, and I will increase your resistance to slashing attacks by teaching you the Armoredillo Curl fighting technique. Speak to Fiun Rehlyun on the Halaetan Islands if you have not done so already."

Nawamara Dia tells you, "I am the keeper of the Iron Monouga Stance. With it I can increase my resistance to bludgeoning attacks. If you wish I can teach it to you, but I will need an augmentation gem. Visit Fiun Rehlyun on the Halaetan Islands if you have not already acquired one of these gems."
