The following notes are provided as a courtesy until I can research a full write-up.

Town Crier tells you, "I've heard stories about adventurers hunting down and killing a large "Mukkir." I have no idea what a "Mukkir" is, but it sounds scary...."

Portal gems drop from Royal Inquisitor (Commander's Quarters in North Glenden Wood Prison).

Kill the Barbaric Mukkir Nest-Lord and loot its head (3 minute spawn). Give head to Qath al-Haddash in Qalaba'r for reward!

Hi, Elizabetha Lazulae from Harvestgain again :). A few more pics here to round off the evening. It seems that pits full of low-level mukkir have appeared near the starter towns. These pictures were taken across the river from Shoushi (31.3S, 74.8E) and show Small Fledgeling Mukkir in their new home. The dungeon is basically just a series of caves and twisty passages and doesn't appear to contain any quest items or higher level creatures, although it's filled with swirling black clouds that make it hard to navigate. No level restrictions, just walk in. There are a few Mukkir around the entrance, so you can be sure when you've found it. Hope this is useful to you."

Mukkir Nest Portal Gem

A Viamontian crafted portal gem, keyed to open a Gateway to a hidden nest of Mukkir. Perhaps sommething of value can be gathered fromm this nest.
Use this gem to summon a short-lived portal to the Mukkir Nest. You must be at least 150th level to enter this portal. This gem works best if used outside in a relatively flat area.
