From the Throne of Destiny Expansion.

Penguins are good for a bit of fun by torturing Lorca Sammel, but there are other reasons to hunt the little flightless bird. Begin by speaking to Chef Martam in Silyun. You can reach Silyun from the portal in Sanamar at 76.6N, 58.7W or by purchasing a portal gem from Luressi di Maki for an I note.

NPC: Chef Martam - 87.4N, 70.6W

Chef Martam tells you, "What am I to do?"
Chef Martam tells you, "Grand Mother of Silyun...she is so terribly unhappy."
Chef Martam tells you, "I must make something to cheer her up. But what?"

Head to the Penguin Cave Hatchery to hunt for Penguin Eggs. The dungeon is a short run from the Plains of Ruin portal outside of Silyun at 87.9N, 69.7W.

The penguins inside may not seem that dangerous, but they can peck a poor mage to death in no time at all with their little piercing and bludgeoning beaks. Bring along a melee for best results and use fire attacks. In general, you'll be heading southeast through the dungeon.

At the bottom you'll find a Great Cave Penguin. Kill it and bring its egg back to Chef Martam and he'll bake a cake!

Note: The Cave Penguins also drop eggs that can be turned in for other random rewards.

Timer: 24 hour

You give Chef Martam Cave Penguin Egg.
Chef Martam takes the egg and taps it a couple times.
Chef Martam tells you, "Look. Zee egg has a crack on it."
Chef Martam tells you, "Perhaps a lesser chef can use this."
Chef Martam tells you, "BUT NOT CHEF MARTAM!"
Chef Martam gives you Trade Note (5,000).
Chef Martam tells you, "Bring me another Cave Penguin Egg at once!"

You give Chef Martam Great Cave Penguin Egg.
Chef Martam takes the egg and taps it a couple times.
Chef Martam tells you, "What have we here?"
Chef Martam tells you, "Perfect shape and size."
Chef Martam tells you, "This is the one I have been searching for!"
Chef Martam tells you, "Zee Great Penguin Egg!"
Chef Martam tells you, "Now I can make zee cake for Grand Mother of Silyun."
Chef Martam tells you, "Wait here. I will make you a smaller cake from the left overs of the egg."
In what seems like moments Chef Martam returns with your cake.
Chef Martam tells you, "Here is your special Cave Penguin Cake. I make just for you!"
Chef Martam gives you Cave Penguin Cake.
Chef Martam tells you, "I must be off now. Grand Mother of Silyun's cake can no be made so quick."
Chef Martam tells you, "Thanks again for your help."
You've earned 500,000 experience.
