To begin the quest for the Dagger of Tikola, purchase a rumor from the barkeep in Yanshi.

Rumor: Felscuda the Scholar

You'll get directions to the scholar Felscuda at 8.8S, 53.7E, the point of interest east of Yanshi and a hint that she is looking for a blank piece of parchment.

Felscuda tells you, "I am in the employ of Lady Folthid."
Felscuda tells you, "If you could spare me some blank parchment, I will be very grateful. I am studying in my spare time, and I need the parchment."
You give Felscuda Parchment.
Felscuda tells you, "Just between you and me, but are you seeking entry into the Folthid Cellar? My studies hint of a very fine dagger within it, of ancient origin. Beware; it may be guarded, and my heart tells me of treacherous danger within."
Felscuda tells you, "Also, you will not be able to give it away once you have it; you can only sell it. To get in to the dungeon, you will need to convince Lady Folthid to give you the key. Try giving her a wood heart from a golem."

Raxanza Folthid's house is a short distance away at 8.8S, 53.7E. As Felscuda instructs, give her a Wood Golem Heart for further instructions. If you don't have a heart with you, you can camp the Wood Golems in the entry room of the Folthid Cellars at 8.6S, 52.9E (restricted to Levels 12+). Eventually, one will drop a heart.

Raxanza Folthid tells you, "I am Raxaza Folthid. Unless you have business with me, I do not wish to speak with you."
You give Raxanza Folthid Wood Heart.
Raxanza Folthid tells you, "I see that you are stout enough to fight through wood golems. Well, then, I have a task for you. Go to my Cellars and retrieve a bottle of Old Nectar for me."
Raxanza Folthid tells you, "It's an Empyrean drink that I collect. I'll pay you for your services afterward."
Raxanza Folthid gives you Key.
Raxanza Folthid tells you, "Pay no attention to any rumors of swamp creatures deep within it. That's absurd."

The key from Raxanza opens the door (resistance 2000) in the entry of the Folthid Cellars at 8.6S, 52.9E (restricted to Levels 12+). If you like, you can lifestone nearby at 8.7S, 53.8E.

Old Nectar
The first part of the dungeon involves getting the Old Nectar from a chest. You'll encounter Barker, Mudlurk, Shaman Mosswarts and Limestone Golems. The second half of the quest brings you to the lower levels of the cellar, where you'll fight Undead, Liches and Sclavus.

The first part of the dungeon is linear. Follow the corridor around, ignoring the side rooms with Mosswarts. You'll cross a catwalk, and finally, you'll go left around a corner, down a short ramp. Make a right at the bottom of the ramp, then head west across the catwalk. Take a left at the split and you should end up in a room with two doors, a locked one to the east (resistance 242) and an unlocked one to the right.

The lever you want is behind the locked door. If you don't have lockpick, you can get to it from the back way. Go through the west door, then through another door. Keep to the left at the 4 way intersection and you'll find the door that opens the lever room. Inside a Barker Mosswart and a Limestone Golem guard the lever.

The lever open the door to the Nectar Room. To find it, head back out the south door of the lever room. You'll be back at the 4-way intersection. Go straight, and follow the winding passageway until you reach a large open room. The door is opposite you on the north wall. The chest containing the Old Nectar is guarded by 5 mosswarts, including a Shaman.

To reach the lower levels of the cellar where the Dagger can be found, jump off the edge of the wall near the chest. You'll be fighting Undead and Liches until the final room. When you land, take the south passage out of the room. Follow the corridor down and around until you're heading north again. Keep straight and the passage will bend to the east. You'll head down another ramp to the lever section.

Ahead of you and down one level is a locked gated door. You'll need to pull a lever to open it. Straight ahead of you is a passageway. Go through, and follow it around a curve. Pull the lever in the first room on the left. When you exit the lever room, go left. In the large open room take the passage on the south wall until you see the door that is now open. Pull the lever inside. To reach the grated door, take a right out of the room and follow the passage around and down the ramp. The open door will be straight ahead.

When you head down another ramp to the lowest level, you'll be in the final room. Two Se Sclavus guard a chest. Inside the chest is the Dull Dagger. An Aste Sclavus carries the Dagger of Tikola and the exit key (door resistance 250). The Dagger of Tikola cannot be dropped or given away; however, it can be sold.

Return to Lady Folthoid and give her the Nectar for your final reward: 500xp.

You give Raxanza Folthid Old Nectar.
Raxanza Folthid tells you, "Ah, wonderful. I can scarcely set foot in my own cellar these days. A travesty. What are they doing in Cragstone about this monster problem? Nothing, I imagine."
Raxanza Folthid tells you, "Anyway, here is your reward."

Raxanza Folthid gives you 500 Pyreals.
