| Alchemy is used in several steps when making an Isparian Weapon: when using a Decanter of Essence on Diamond Powder to make the oil, using the oil on a Pyreal Ingot to make a Diamond Infused Pyreal Ingot, and when making the Oil and treating the Diamond Heart for the Modifying Tool. | Oiled String for Composite Weapons | |||

Alchemy is used in the Composite Bow/Crossbow quest to oil the sting with Bloodseeker Oil. The string determines the weapon's damage modifier. The string can be made from either 3 Braided Sclavus Tongues or 3 Braided Ravener Guts. The best string is made from a successful application of oil to Braided Ravener Guts! |

Alchemy (as well as Cooking) is used in Making Dyes. Crush your plant using the Mortar & Pestle, then use Neutral Balm to create a vial of dye. If you fail the skill check, you will destroy the plant. |
