Finally! The date for this year's Turbine Nation / ACPL has been announced! It's being held at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Saturday, August 13th, 2005! Yay!! Mark your calendars now! If you've never been to one, they're boatloads of fun. You can see last year's write-up here. Can't wait to see everyone again!

Turbine just posted 2 big announcements! First, the release date for the expansion pack has been pushed back to July 18th. I for one, am relieved! This way, it's not coinciding with my week long trip to Disney with my nieces! ;-) Second, Jessica Mulligan will be leaving Turbine. Wah!! You can read the details in the April Letter to the Team.

A few more events occurred in Dereth last night: a Golem Attack and a Viamontian Raid!

And now for a big announcement! Today is the grand opening of the Jackcat Forums! I've always said no in the past, but I decided it was time to give them a go! Please stop by and say hello. You can find the Forum Roolz here and a Welcome message here!

I'd also like to introduce The Jackcat Rangers! The Rangers are a group of volunteers who will be helping on the site in a more organized fashion. I'm pleased to welcome them and look forward to their help in making the site even better than ever!

I've made a new page to accommodate live events for the month of April and added to the Infiltration event section. You can read my account of the Shadow Invasion on TD last night. Unfortunately, I didn't see much as I spent most of it at the lifestone. ;-) A second item can also be found on the page. It's April Fools and Sammy the Drudge has been up to some hijinks in Dereth! You can read the story here!

I'm still taking advantage of the patchless month to fill in some missing bits and pieces on the site. The Easter Eggs section has finally been updated with the Chest of Camping Ineptitude! Expect a few more entries to be filled in over the next few days!
