I sorted through some of the mail I received while I was on vacation and did some more updating to the Waking from the Abyss patch page! A few more creatures, letter quest rewards and leather armor updates added!

I also updated numerous pages in the Auberean History section. If any of the old patches were missing rollout articles or build notes, etc., they have now been added!

More buffing and fluffing to the Waking from the Abyss patch page! Thanks to all the fabulous submissions! The festivus season continues into a winter wonderland! Snowmen, snowflakes, snow pies (better than cow pies, don't you agree?), snowballs! Sleek and Dapper clothing, new detective hats, new leather armor, updated Exploration items, new quests, new creatures, new house furnishings, and best of all... air conditioning (now hookable)!! I think this just might be the best patch ever!

You think, "It's always the best patch ever. I was struck by an odd feeling of deja vu...."

I'm heading out of town for the holidays, but I'll be bringing the laptop with me and plan to do some updating if I get a chance. Byeeee!

I'm sure you've heard it before: "You may be old school if...." Well, if you have Run specialized (like me!), you just might remember The Spin From Turbine, a precursor to the Letter to the Players. I've ferreted out as many as I could and posted them on the various patch pages. You can find them in the various event pages of the Auberean History section -- from the Fire in the Sky through The Child of Daralet (minus a few). A little something for you to read while the servers are down for patch day!

As always, I'll be updating the Waking from the Abyss page as I'm able. Screenshots should be sent to jackcat@spacestar.net - use your @day command (I get a lot of pitch black pictures every month that I can't use), complete stats with icons please, and don't forget your in-game name!! For tips on taking screenshots, visit the Mail and Screenshots Tips page!

It may be the most exciting Asheron's Call news ever!!! Turbine has announced it's buying back the franchise from Microsoft! You can read about it here! You'll also find letters from Jessica and the AC Live Team about the news! May I just say: Whoo hoo!!

Update: Some of your questions may be answered on the Microsoft Insider site. They've posted a FAQ and a Letter to Subscribers!

Ash the Man of SC was at it again. 25+ more pics added to the Pets section. Thanks also to many other players helping to fill out the missing pics and info from the Stuff I'd Like page!

Brute also sent in the stats for the 4th type of Olthoi Shield (Lesser for levels 40-60) which has been added to the Visions in the Darkenss patch page!

Two other short items:
1) Ibn has requested player feedback on Live Lore Events and PK(L) radar blips. Visit the Turbine Forums to pass on your comments!

2) My hosting company's data center is moving this weekend, so the site may experience periodic outages.
