Part 3 of The Tournament is now up on the Turbine site! Ibn recommends re-reading Assassination and The Malika and the Individual for additional insight on the Viamontian society!

A few new items have gone up on the Turbine site. First, Turbine has introduced a Member Loyalty, Beta Rewards program! You can find info on it here! Sounds good to me! I'm still bitter about the AC2 beta. ;-) Second, Ibn has posted his write-up of the expansion preview from the Press Event on Feb. 17th! You can also see a copy of my spiffy invitation here!

I've also recently gone back through some old email and found my pile of AC newsletters, the Annals of Dereth! I'm missing a handful of them, specifically some of the early ones, but I had a good many of them. Where available, I've added them to the different patch sections in the Auberean History section! If you have some of the ones I'm missing tucked away on your hard drive, please send me an email!

You won't believe it, but I've published some Letters! My vassal, Ned Cleversun, made me. He's been nagging me for years to resurrect the section. It was always one of the most popular ones on the site, so it's long overdue. It's just that as the game gets bigger, and my site adds more and more stuff, there's only so much a person can do! :) You'll find my vassal's opinion on the upcoming non-patch months, a hello from Iraq and a video tribute to the Devs (17.8MB)!

I rashly promised to fill in all the missing months in the Letters section about, er ...a year + ago. With some extra time these next few months, who knows! Maybe yet!

I've got more live event info to get up on the site still, so... coming soon!

I know everyone's anxious for Expansion news. I was invited to CA for an exclusive preview last week, but with that pesky job business, I couldn't make it. (WAH!!!!) Check out some exclusive screenshots on the Vault, to whet your appetite!

More exciting news: Turbine has released the first Before and After pic of the Throne of Destiny expansion. And these beauties aren't even the final version! You can find the pics here!

Thanks to everyone who submitted info for the patch page and is helping fill in the missing pics! February is the month of love... weapons love, that is! New tiers of wield requirements, plus new fallen and banished weapons. New Viamontian info, Shadowed Lugians, new Reliquaries and portal gems, and a fancy new shield, new hat and new robe. And to balance out all that love, there's also Mausoleums of Hate, Shadowed Lugians and pet murder!

To top it all off, enjoy one of the upcoming live events. You can read the announcement here! I think this just might be the best patch ever!
