Time for a Quest section update! As many people pointed out to me, I never finished up the Boss Creatures from the Keep Your Enemies Closer Event. Now that the Bone Mace has been found, it seemed like the perfect time. Dark Sorcerer's Phylactery, Gauntlets of Marksmanship and Osseous Mace added. Much to my surprise, I couldn't find pics and stats of the Swamp King anywhere in my piles. If anyone has them on hand, I'd love it if you could pass them on.

Yet another one of the older sections revamped and updated. The Jewelry page in the Shopping section now follows the format of many of the other updated sections with Quest and Crafted Jewelry listed first, then Store Bought Jewelry, then a sampling of randomly generated loot jewelry, both with spells and without (page may be slow to load). I've also separated out the new multi-spell jewelry, but I don't yet have many examples. If you've received a piece of jewelry with two, or even 3 spells, I'd love to get screens of the full stats and icons emailed to me.

Most of you are probably already aware of the new Villa purchase item of a Jungle Wasp Wing, but just in case... Housing Purchase page updated! Elysa's Favor quest also updated with pics and stats of all the items in the quest. Keys added to the Locksmith page.

Hurray! Maingray of FF forwarded to me a copy of Stormwaltz's post, detailing the ins and outs of some of the decisions going into the making of the Hieromancer's Armor. Since I just read Stormy gently ribbing Troop (our Savior) about his propensity to expound, I thought it only fair to point out that Stormwaltz may not himself be immune to such things. ;-) You can read all about the making of the Thaumaturgic Plate here.

If my memory is correct, I think there was a 2nd follow-up post, after the changes were introduced. I'd love to get my hands on a copy if anyone has it lying around.

Final updated to the Settlement Portals page (unless someone discovers a brand new grouping)! Thanks to Thorwolf the Carver for filling out the last missing few.

Hieromancer's Armor quest updated with a great map and walk-through of the Hall, courtesy of Aguair of FF. And if anyone happened to save copies of the great posts Stormwaltz made on the old defunct CoD boards about the armor, I'd love it if you could email them to me.

Flesh and Blood patch page updated with more Two Headed Snowmen sayings, more samples of the new Loot Drops with stackable spells, and some non-confirmed new housing locations.

More updates to the Settlement Portals page.

Many updates to the Flesh and Blood patch page! New Loot Profiles! New creatures! Chilly snowmen! New Quest!

Settlement Portals page got a big update with tons of new housing portals. And, as always, Town Crier rumors updated. Ulgrim doesn't appear to have much new to say. ;-)

Jackcat Canyon. Wowie zowie. I think this just might be the best patch ever!

My vassal complains that he liked it better when I updated the Letters section several times a month with 3-4 letters at a time. I've been meaning to try to get back to that routine, but... it won't be in January! Letters section updated! Something to read while the servers are down!

This might also be a good time to log in to any web email accounts that you may have used to set up a Passport.

As usual, I'll be doing a patch page. Just a reminder to please use the jackcat@spacestar.net email address when sending screenshots! Whee!

I did a little updating to the various weapons pages in the Sports section, adding a few missing Academy and Starter Weapons. Pics of the various Academy Coats & Academy Weapons added to the Quest section as well!

Quest Section update! Well, sort of! :) I finally got a chance to go through the over 100 emails I received from my request for pics and stats on the Palenqual's Living Weapons quest. I've re-written the quest into a real write-up and added all the Totems and final weapons submitted so far. Fabulous pics included. Final Living Weapons also added to the various Sports pages.

Thanks to all the great info from everyone and I apologize if I accidentally left anyone out! If you have pics or stats of the triple totems and final weapons I'm missing, I'd love it if you could email them to me.

I've taken down the old For the Table page in the Shopping section and replaced it with a page on Stones, Ores and Tokens. The For the Table page had become obsolete once crockery became throw-able! If you miss those cute cups and plates, never fear: they can still be found in the Thrown Weapons section.

Once again, more housing added to the Real Estate Guide. Additions to the Qalaba'r area, the Linvak Range, and two new sections started: Mt. Esper Area and the Holtburg Area. Special thanks to +Admin Talaris for getting me unstuck when I was... er... stuck between a hill and a housing barrier. No, I wasn't trying to break in! ;-)

Tesserae page updated with a few more pics of the different Tesserae. Snowmen page updated with additional fabulous pics and a tidbit on the Arcane Lore requirement for the advanced snowmen!

It's time for... Easter Eggs! I've started a new section in the Odds 'N Ends section to describe some of the hidden and undocumented surprises of Asheron's Call. The first item featured is the TARDIS, long thought to be a hoax. More to come!

I also did a big batch reduction on the size of the graphics in the Real Estate Guide. They should all now be about 1/2 the size they were previously. I've always tended to go slightly better on the quality (therefore larger file size), but decided that for this particular section it really wasn't necessary.

Real Estate Guide updated again with locations in the Lost Wish Range and with some housing near Shoushi. The Coordinates page was updated as well (all credits have not been added yet). I also added the Baishi Housing Portals to the Settlement Portals page. Thanks to Optim Shi for the info!

I've finally started adding some Recommended Hunting Locations for Levels 30-40. I'll try to get at least partial pages up for the still uncompleted sections in the next week or so (War Magic is coming soon, and level VII spells, and the rest of the quest write-ups I haven't finished yet, and more housing locations, and, and, and... ;-). Not all locations have been added to the level 30-40 page, but it does cover some of the more popular submissions! Thanks to everyone for their great recommendations!

Real Estate Guide updated with a few more housing settlements on the Northern Coast of the Inner Sea, including what must surely be one of the coolest cottage locations in the game! 

[And just to briefly repeat something I mentioned last month: I do not know when houses will be going on the market, or where they are currently for sale. I have no inside information. I repeat: I have no inside information!! :]

Settlement Portals page updated with the additional Arwic Villas portals.

Texts Section updated with some of Alan Maki's recent writings: Scalpel, The Sclavus: Murk Dwellers, and Completely Hollow. I've also added Dereth: A Brief History For Travelers in the Auberean History Section.

I've been working through my enormous email pile updating this and that here and there. Many minor and miscellaneous updates to various quest pages on the site and to other pages such as the DM Crafters and Collectors page. I also finally fixed the broken link for the Armoredillo Hide Coat on the Coats page! Of all the links to be broken! Ha. Oops! (Recent housing item :) Thanks to everyone who sent in information and corrections. I've tried to list your names as credits on the individual pages. For those of you who don't see your name listed yet, I have *many* more emails to go through yet. As always, more coming soon!

Happy New Year to all! It's been a fabulous fun-filled year in AC. Thanks to everyone at Turbine for continued excellence! And thanks to all the visitors to the site. I couldn't do it without you! (Well, I could, but it wouldn't be anywhere near as good! Or half as fun! ;-)

The year's first site update is the Town Maps page! All the old, dead links were removed, and some newer links were added, most notably, the fabulous town surveys of Asheron's Assembly, and the town maps from the Order of Balance, reminiscent of the old defunct maps from AC Heaven.
