I've added many more reports of live events from the past week to the Assault patch page! Some new titles have appeared on the scene besides Curmudgeon's Friend: Queens Crafter, Wardens Assistant and Wardens Thug!

Even though it may look like I haven't updated in days, I've been busy correcting the portal drops, lifestone changes, meeting halls, etc. in the Tourism section! There are a few that I haven't gotten to yet, but your routes should be a little more accurate now!

The Dereth Museum has announced the winners of the raffle tickets! You can visit this page for the results! Thanks to everyone who participated to make the opening such a success! If you haven't stopped by to visit yet, you really should! It's very cool!

I've updated another round of starter quests, this time from Shoushi. You can find out more in the Braid Mansion Ruin, the Stone Cathedral and the Four Stones of Jojii quests!

Yet more live events have been going on in Dereth. This time FF and HG participated in a little scavenger hunt as an Emissary of the Royal Guard sought help gathering items that would aid in protecting Dereth. Items such as Dinner Plate imbued with Crippling Blow. I'd love to have a seat at *that* dinner party! ;-) You can find out more on the patch page here!

Update: MT also had an event yesterday! Case III tracked down the escaped convict Ellis the Grey who committed suicide to avoid being captured and returned to Glenden Wood! You can read Case III's account here!

Curmudgeon is making the rounds! MT received a visit from this little Drudge and helped him retrieve the Baron's Amulet for his friend, Nen Ai's Drudge! See the Curmudgeon's Friend page for detail.

MT isn't the only world that received a visitor. Word of the Dereth Museum's grand opening is obviously making the rounds on Dereth. Some curious Burun stopped by to take a look! You can find out more here!

A live event took place last night on the Verdantine server! Read Hamfast's report of their "kwest" with Curmudgeon the Drudge on the patch page here! Is that cute or what? Mosswarts, Mice, Drudges. I swear, if Turbine keeps this up, I won't have any creatures left to kill. ;-)

The banderlings attacked again last night, this time on Thistledown. I was lucky enough to participate!! You can read my first hand account on the patch page here. Of course, my account involves a lot of trauma and staring at the lifestone, but I suppose that's all a part of life on Dereth!! ;-)

Turbine has also announced the distributor for the upcoming expansion pack! You can read the Press Release in the Throne of Destiny section here!

The fireworks were certainly timely! Damien Sarin has announced that the Dereth Museum is having its Grand Opening! This community project is a collection of 16 exhibits at Frostfell's Mosswart Place housing settlement (easily reached by any newbie via the portal from Shoushi at 31.3S, 72.6E)! Both my wonderful vassal, Ned Cleversun, and I are curators of several of the exhibits and we're excited to be a part of this amazing collection! Stop by and see for yourself! Damien is also holding a raffle to help with the maintenance on the cottages.

Another Banderling assault occurred on Leafcull! See the patch page for details! The Tursh Totem quest was also updated with info on the 40-59 section and the 80-99 section! Thanks to everyone continuing to send info in!

More updates to the Assault patch page, including a full write-up of the Banderling Shrine quest! Thanks to everyone who contributed to the patch page! Balloons, champagne, fireworks, resolutions, new hunting grounds, I-see-blue-people, fancy new Royal Oil sleeves, dancing Banderlings, flying Drudges, higher wield weapons, and... a tiara!! I think this just might be the best patch ever!

Happy New Year! I guess there's no way to get around it. I'm officially back at work. Obviously, the updates were light over the holidays; too much going on. I'll be getting back into the swing of things as soon as I shake off vacation mode! In the meantime, the State of the Network was updated with some upcoming downtimes: the 4th and 11th for scheduled maintenance, and the 12th as the tentative patch day!
