Tuskers are the newest creature to have their portraits added to the Pets section!

Two more Quests added: The Empyrean Cloister (Obsidian Dagger, Barbed Fletching Tool, Empyrean Scalemail Shirt and the Skull of Avoren Palacost) and another lower level adventure -- the Platemail Hauberk from the Glenden Wood Dungeon!

Main page of the site updated! Now please don't freak out! The last time I made a change to the home page, I got 500 crazed letters quicker than you can say, "Bob's your uncle!" ;-) It's just a little thing; I had a request to put a better picture up. You can read the request in the updated Letters section! Also included: more tales of Martine, the Fathomless Chasm, a cool opportunity for a fellow AC player, rocking and ruling, and deep bitterness.

I decided I liked the guinea pig Dolls and Snowmen page enough to use the pics format in the rest of the Pets section. Zefirs, Virindi, Wisps and Ursuin now updated. The pics have been culled from the thousands and thousands of emails I have been sent (and my own screenshots). If, by chance, I have mis-credited any, please be sure to send me an email! And, of course, if you have pics of any I am missing, I'd love those too. :-)

When you think of Tuesday, you're bound to think of Fist de Yuma. And when you think of Fist de Yuma, you think of the House of Elder, one of (the?) Morningthaw's largest monarchies, and this week's featured allegiance in the Monarchies of Dereth section. Special thanks to the members of the House of Elder for the great stories they sent. I had a hard time making my selections!

Professions page in the Careers section updated with the revised newbie templates/inventory after the Castling patch. I also finally filled out the other pages in the section. Attributes and Skills is up and ready for the upcoming tinkering revisions! Guides page updated with numerous links to character creation guides and template collections.

Better late than never! This week's feature on the Monarchies of Dereth section is the Wintersebb allegiance the Guardians of Light. The GOL are a well structured group with different tiers of leadership and a convenient set-up of portal and buff bots at their mansion! Thank you for all the fabulous submissions for this section. I'll be contacting you a week or two prior to your allegiance's feature for further information.

Quest section also updated with an oldie but goodie: the Fenmalain Vestibule quest! Have an Oozing Lump burning a hole in your backpack? Find out its uses here.

A quick route to the Mysterious Floating Castle added to the Shortcuts page. If you haven't taken the run up there to see this structure for yourself, you really should make the jaunt. It's very cool. A second shortcut added to the site; the Hollow Weapons quest page updated with a shortcut to the Lugian Mines. And continuing with the addition of the little pop-up windows, I added a few pics of weapons to the Singularity Weapons quest page, including a pic sent in by someone with my new favorite AC name: thanks to Superstinky Poopycat of LC for the pic of the Singularity Spear! ;-)

I was hoping to do a new allegiance feature as a recurring Monday feature. Looks like I will have to revise that to every Monday, except the Monday following patch week! ;-)

More miscellaneous updates from the Castling event. Grievver Caves map added to the Flags quest, courtesy of AC Maps. I also added the additional Singularity Weapons from the Fever Dreams event to the Singularity Weapons and Upgraded Singularity Weapons quest pages.

New Scriveners added to the Vendor Rates page in the Bargains section. Mana Stones & Charges page partially updated in the Bargains section with locations for the Superb Mana Charges and the other higher level charges now that they are more widely available. I still need to make it out to some of the more remote towns. Last, visit the Settlement Portals page to view which settlements have added housing this month. Major updates to the Castling patch page! More pics, creature stats, scroll locations and quest info. For detailed information on quests, you can visit the Flags quest page and the Arcane Pedestal & Dereth Map quest page. And let's not forget, no more spell research! That alone just might make this the best patch ever!

Thanks for all the great info from everyone. Not all credits are up on the site yet. Since the patch was delayed, I was downloading email on my dial-up connection at home, instead of from the zippy DSL at work. It was looking grim there for a bit; at midnight, I was still only up to the 9PM mail! ;-)

The second allegiance to be featured in the Monarchies of Dereth is The Silver Citadel on the Leafcull server. Formed in Pre-Beta by founders Ras, Rook and Trozan, it lays claim to being the oldest Monarchy in Dereth! Find out more here.

More Creature XP!

Renegade's Token and a new Martine tale added to the Hidden Vein patch page. We now have a clue to Martine's testy disposition (you know, all those killing sprees)... women trouble! Thanks to Strike Athius of WE!

Thanks also for all the great information coming in for the The Monarchies of Dereth section! The game-plan is to publish a new one each Monday. If I don't contact you right away, don't be alarmed. You're on the list. About a week or two before your allegiance's feature, I'll be in closer communication with your contact person to flesh out any missing information.

Last, in case you haven't seen it yet, there's a new letter on the Zone detailing the upcoming magic changes. Start cashing in those scrolls!

The new section, The Monarchies of Dereth, kicks off with DaMonarchy of TD! I was tempted to do my own monarchy as the first feature, but decided that you probably knew enough about me and my vassal, Ned Cleversun, already. ;-) I plan to publish one a week, although until I get a few up, I won't know how realistic that is. Future entries are not expected to be as in-depth as this introductory feature. Special thanks to the enthusiastic responses from the member of DaMonarchy to help me get the section off and running!

A few more starter quests updated with the changes from the Betrayal patch: Al-Arqas Starter Quests and Rithwic Starter Quests.

Dungeons, Landmarks & Other Places of Interest in the Tourism section updated with the new locations from the last few patches. I also added links to various quest pages for any quest dungeons on the list. More miscellaneous creature data added.

Once again I'd like to remind people to keep their virus software up to date. Several viruses continue to make the rounds. One chooses a random name out of the infected person's address book and uses that to mask the from field, then sends it to everyone in their book. Since I'm in a lot of people's address books, you may receive infected email with my name in the from field. This mail is not actually coming from me; I'm just the random name that got pulled from the person's address book. I will never send you mail with an attachment unless it's something we've discussed ahead of time. If you get mail like this in your inbox, delete it immediately.

More updates to the Creature XP list! Keep them coming in. Just a reminder that if you're using the Topheron's Doom plug-in, you must be the same or lower level of the creature you are killing to get the full experience value.

Dungeon details for the level 20-29 section added to Isparian Arms quest. Atlan Shivering Stone updated with new info now that the torch shortcut has been removed.
