The July Letter to the Players is now up on the Turbine Site here. You can also find a copy in the Treaties in Stone patch section. Feedback on the letter can be posted here!

Interested in some of the other games Turbine has in the pipeline? Ibn has announced that 50 beta accounts for Middle-earth Online will be given away at Turbine Nation 2004!

Damien Sarin of FF reports yet another new Renegade Stronghold has opened up, this time in Stonehold! Visit the patch page for details!

I've also been busy updating numerous pages on the site with changes from recent patches. Pharmacy page updated, pages in the Sports section updated, etc. As soon as I get those under control I'll be adding more housing residents and cleaning up some of the recent quests. More coming soon!

Turbine has also posted a new Transition Diary from Jessica here. The feedback thread is located here. I gotta say... I sure hope they get the cheesy ginormous-breasted-woman advertising out of their system before expansion pack time. ;-)

A few more bits added to the Pillars Made of Sand patch page. Thanks to Neros of TD for reporting on the Renegade Camp with a campfire and Map to the Burun Lair and to Larceny of TD for info on the new Renegade Stronghold. And thanks to Magicpipe II of TD for helping fill in missing pics from the Orphanage quest!

There's a lot of talk on the boards about the mechanics of getting the xp reward on the Aun Golem Hunters quest. I've updated the quest page with one report (see bottom of page). If you are able to verify this info and if you have pics and info on the other titles and tokens, please send me an email!

A group of us are trying to put together an Unofficial Turbine Nation Hotel Block for the festivities in August. I've gone every year so far, and it's always load of fun! This hotel block is in no way, shape, or form associated with Turbine itself. It's just being put together by some fans. It will be of a size limited by response. I've gotten way behind on getting the info from the last several patches into the regular site pages. Slowly, but surely, they are getting revised. The NPC list and vendor rates page updated (minus the vendor exceptions), location to buy Scrolls updated, as well as numerous other site pages. More coming soon!

I apologize for the site outage last night. My hosting company was upgrading their servers. If I had known, I would have warned you! Numerous updates made to the Pillars Made of Sand patch page! Oldin of HG sends details on The Orphanage along with a map. Info on the Head of the Homunculus added, plus the new crafting rewards! New Quests, new pincers, a new server, new crafting rewards, new creatures, Marae Lassel updated, and a Homunculus! I think this just might be the best patch ever!
