Were you devastated by the announcement that the Rhode Island Turbine Nation had been cancelled for August and will be replaced by a CA AC event sometime this fall? The Lord of the Rings Community is hosting its own player run event anyway, and has invited any at-loose-ends AC players to attend. Paraduck is corralling the AC folks here! When we have the new dates for the CA event, I'll let you know. (Hint, Callandryll!!)

Update: Level 140 Tokens are now available from the Turbine Vendors in the Open Preview! (Typo fixed!)

Ibn has announced that level 100 tokens are now available in the Throne of Destiny Preview. A dev-led quest will also occur at 6PM Pacific time!

Thanks to everyone sending info for the Patch page! It won't go live until the 18th, but I'm working on getting it organized! As always, please send full stats panels, and include your in-game name and server! Also, since the new screenshots are already in .JPG format, there's no need to compress them further. Just send them as they are! (Look in MyDocuments/Asheron's Call for their new home.)

Several reports of live attacks came in while I was out of town this past weekend. I've finally had a chance to put them up on the Infiltration June Events page here!

The reports are slow coming in from the Open Preview (if you're like me, you can't even get out of the town because of the lag! Stupid dial-up!!), but the first rare has already been discovered by Vitae Boy! Congrats! If there are any researchers out there who'd like to help get the ToD info for the site ready for launch on July 18th, please send me an email!

Update from Ibn: "In order to address an issue with our billing system, it is necessary to bring the authentications servers down at 5:45PM PDT / 8:45PM EDT / 12:45AM UTC for approximately 1 hour.

During this time players will not be able to log in to AC1,AC:TD Open Preview, or AC2. Players who are currently logged in should be able to remain logged in."

The Throne of Destiny Open Preview is now live!! Download the client and get your key from Fileplanet here!

Screenshots work a little differently in AC:TD! A new screenshot folder will be placed into your My Documents named Asheron's Call. Screenshots are already in .jpg format! Simply send them to Maggie@thejackcat.com, or feel free to post your discoveries on the Destiny Forum here!

Yes, I've been out of town *again*, but before I left, I visited the Halaetan Isles during the Press Preview round of the upcoming expansion. Here's a few pics to whet your appetite until tomorrow, when everyone has a chance to STFU or go Blue! (See the AC: Throne of Destiny Open Preview and Preview FAQ for more information.) What can I say? I'm a slacker. Terrible, terrible. It's summer, after all. But! I've started poking through some of the submissions that came in recently and have posted a few more live events! Read about the ferocious Margul, Al'Cani, in the May events and read about some attacks on Eastham and Cragstone in the June events! If you participated in a live event, don't forget to send in a report!
