Masks
page has been updated with the King's Helm, courtesy of Tuesday of
Solclaim! Thanks Tuesday!
I've also updated the Letters
page with a selection of letters praising the site! What can I say? I am
eternally self-indulgent. Also included is a letter mentioning that the
ore for the Impious
Staff is no longer available in the Arwic Mines.
I absolutely love getting your
letters, and love all the contributions you make, but I must admit that I
may have to change my statement that all letters will receive a personal
response. I've been from 200-300 letters behind for several months now and
don't seem to be any closer to catching up. I'll see how it goes in the
next few weeks and hope that I haven't hurt anyone's feelings! It doesn't
mean that I don't love you! :)
Ned
Cleversun's death total is waaaay out of date. Up 93 (eeek!) to 684.
But on a more exciting note, his loyalty is also up 2 more points to 142!
I must say that Danier's
bragging about his 147 Loyalty stat turned out to be super-good for me!
Congratulations to both Ned and Danier: Ned for breaking the Level 50
barrier (he's actually Level 51 now!), and to Danier for making the Top 10
list for Focus!

The last of the Aluvian story contest winners from
the Twilight's
Gleaming patch is up. Read Aragorn of Thistledown's tale, The Journals
of Change here!

More BOOBIES!!! j/k. Well, sort of. Visit the
Letters Section for the final wrap-up of the great boobie debate! Instead
of publishing more of the many, many letters I received, I've summarized
the major themes for your enjoyment. Did you know that women in the
Renaissance wore dresses similar to the Red Specialty Dress?! That they
did. Read all about it here!
Also included is a letter with
info on the Plauteau tailor, courtesy of Faldari of Solclaim.

Letters
section updated wtih more on (yes, that's right!) the new Specialty
Dress. Burnt out on boobies? Well, don't click the link!
Also included is an explanation
on how to take screenshots and how to convert them to .jpg.
Thanks
to Maxamillion Blade for the stats of the Mite Warrior Princess and to
Pal'Than of Leafcull for the Unstable Magma Golem stats. I'll try to get
them up soon! :)

Yes, it's more on boobies! All I can say is I'm
soooo glad that Maggie the Jackcat's Kick-Ass Fabulous AC Web Site doesn't
get the kind of visitors that seem to populate Lum's site and CoD's
boards!! ;-) I received so many thoughtful, interesting letters from
people commenting on my Boobie Dress page, I was impressed once again with
the intelligence and maturity of AC players! I have the *best* fans!
Some still like them and some
still hate them, but I think this discussion over the new boobie dresses
has generated more interesting discourse than any other issue in AC so
far. Read more letters here!
I've also added a pic of one of the dresses dyed pink, courtesy of Maddy.

Maggie the Jackcat is nothing, if not thorough.
Yes, I've added the Boobie
Dress to my Formal
Wear page. Love it or hate it, and there's plenty of both, see my dear
friend, famous
writer Nandesu
Ka, modeling this newest Turbine offering.
A few more letters have been
added to the Boobie
Dress page.

Major update to the Shadow
Armor page with pics and stats of the Greater Celdon and Greater
Koujia Shadow Armor. I'm still missing most of the stats for the Medium
and Lesser armors. If you have any info to pass on, please email
me. Special thanks to Danier for posing in the Celdon and for passing
on the elemental pics, and to Bayudone and Boblioni for posing in the
Koujia.

Masks
page updated with the Banderling Mask and the Ogre Mask of the Sho
heritage. Thanks to Dash Arkensun of Harvestgain and Daigoro of Solclaim
for pictures! I also fixed the broken links on the Crafts pages. Thanks to
those who let me know about them.
October 16, 2000
More fun stuff from the latest patch! Thanks to
Usagi Ryu-zan, Feyd
al-Zanah and Weeb of TAC (Darktide) for info on carving pumpkins. You can
use *either* a whittling or a carving knife. Click
here for a full Pumpkin Carving guide!
I've also made a special
page for the new Masks! Thanks to Nacopatamus, Hovering Nimbus,
Nebrodi-Ebr, Ebanna, Vamp Hunter D, and Shadow Reaper for showing off
their new looks!
I haven't updated the Stuff
I'd Like page in a while, but if anyone has nice pics of those new
heritage masks, I'd love it if you could send
them to me!
Again, I'm waaaaay behind on
mail. I apologize if you're still waiting for a reply. I'll try to get
more letters answered soon.

Wondering where those pretty dresses are coming
from? New Formal
Wear guide, with locations, stats and pics of the 24 currently known
new dresses and robes. Thanks to Legolas for helping complete the set and
to Auralyn for posing for the pictures! She even posed twice, since
I didn't like how the first batch turned out. The sun was at the wrong
angle!
Also pictured is Rim the
Dragonfly in a red dyed dress which resulted in a gorgeous deep mauve
color.
Thanks to Delf and Paul for
pointing out a few inaccuracies on the Hollow
Victory page. The AL for the Olthoi Helm remains 230 and pumpkins are
carved with a carving knife, not with a fletching knife! More coming soon!

In any other circumstance, the lack of a new fez during a monthly
update would have been a crushing blow. But how can anything be upsetting
when Turbine has bestowed such a charming plethora of riches on the
inhabitants of Dereth. Including cleavage!
I admit I wasn't too keen on the
idea of girlie clothes, but the new duds are wonderful and are not
restricted to female characters!
And that's not all. Cool new
masks to wear and carved pumpkins to throw! New creatures, new city, new
recipes, new services. Mages rejoice over the newest version of Split Pea.
Halloween has always been one of my most favorite times of year. I was
only in the game for a short while tonight, but the land was alive and
buzzing with... FUN!
Read more about this great new
patch on my Hollow
Victory pages. See Maggie's new cleavage! As always, the new Town
Crier Rumors have been added, as well as Ulgrim's
new babblings.
In addition to the patch info, I
also added the pronunciation of Caulnalain,
Fenmalain, & Shendolain to the Abbreviations,
etc. page, courtesy of Stormwaltz.
Letters
Section was updated and September
Letters Archived.
October 10, 2000
I'm working on my Hollow Victory page, but
in the meantime, I've put another one of the contest winners up: Aytalya
of Darktide's Shadows
of My Doubts. If you need something to pass the time, check out The
Darktide Library and Aytalya's ongoing work The Call.

A new Runway
model! Meet Maddy
of Frostfell who models not only some of the new dyed clothing, but also
shows off a beautiful set of silver armor, and a few Suikan Master Robes!
In addition, I've published
the August
Newsletter on the web, to help people pass the time while the NEW
PATCH goes in! (Can't wait, can't wait!)
October 9, 2000
My guests have all departed, so more
updates coming soon. For now, here's another of the wonderful contest
winner stories: the hilarious The
D00dz, by Vexorg of Thistledown.
October 6, 2000
Another contest winner added to the
Culture Section: The
Journal of Nandesu Ka, written by Nandeus
Ka of Leafcull!
October 5, 2000
I've got a whole houseful of out of town
guests this week, so I haven't had much time to play or update the site!
But guess what?! We took the kids to Camp Snoopy at the Mall of America
and the Log Ride had a Paul Bunyan theme, complete with a giant Blue
Auroch! I thought fondly of AC.
More coming soon. :)
October 2, 2000
What better clothing for the coming of
fall than a nice Robe, dyed a rich shade of red! Dragon
Warrior is up on the Runway
in two very tasteful outfits!
I've also added another of the
story contest winners. Find out how Wari al-Sha'im of the legendary Silifi
of Crimson Stars left the service of Musansayn, in Ashgad of Thistledown's
story, Midnight
Revelation.
October 1, 2000
September has come and gone, and I never
even got a newsletter out! I'll try to put one together soon. There's a
reason I call it "Irregular!"
Site updates:
September
New Stuff Archived.
A few more abbreviations added to the Abbrev/Pronunciation
page.
Culture
Section updated with placeholder pages for the contest winners' stories. I
have two of the nine stories up on the site and will add the rest soon: Loka
Jii Learns to Hunt and Derethian
Skies.
I also changed the background
color for the entire Sports
section to a nice dark red. The old color was ugly! Just a little too
orangy/peachish. I also changed the background for the Yellow
Pages section, because I thought it should be, well, yellow!
