At 1AM I finally made it through the subscription process. So that
means the latest batch of stuff sent in is not yet up on the site because I
was busy dying on Marae Lassel! Yay! Since it's way late, I'll have to wait
until tomorrow to update. (/me is now glad she *didn't* throw her computer
out the window in frustration! :)

It's just like Christmas! My pretty FedEx box was waiting outside my
door when I got home! I ripped open the packaging, slipped the CD in the
machine, loaded the game, oohing and ahhing over the cool new AC logo and
fancy map and game guide (very slick looking), but... I can't get in the
game! The Subscription page is down! Arrggghhh!!! Haha. Hasn't torture been
outlawed? :)
In the meantime, the information is coming in
fast and furious. I don't have everything up yet, but I've added a few more
things to the Dark
Majesty Expansion page, including information on the new Olthoi Titles!

*jumps up and down impatiently!!!* I think a total of 3 people have
made it onto Marae Lassel, driving the rest of us crazy with envy! ;-) Once
the expansion release gets rolling, I'll be posting as much new information
as I can, as usual. In the meantime, I've added a page of Dark

section. If you haven't already seen them, you'll find numerous previews to
whet your appetite!

amazing read from Doogens Mage, all about his adventures in the Bore, at the
Caul, and his fight with a Diamond Lord. You can also read about the uses of
marriage, who wants to get me high, and how to know where you're going.

I've been mired within the minutiae of the site the last few days,
changing the value of items on some of the Starter
Quests to 0, adding a few keys to the Locksmith
page, updating the Gallery
with the 2nd painting from Linvak Tukal, giving Ulgrim
a better picture, adding some missing notes
and texts,
and so on and so forth. More coming soon! ;-)

Another update to the Sports
section. Following the revamp to the Axe Section, the Bows
page now is separated into Quest/Crafted Bows, Starter and Store Bought
Bows, and then a sampling of Loot Generated Bows. Someone previously wrote
to me asking why I didn't list the most important stat of the Bow: the
damage modifier! Well, when I first did the page, lo many moons ago, the
damage modifier was not visible! Archers would have to complete complicated
field tests to gauge whether they had a decent weapon or not. So until I
gather more bow stats, the sampling of loot bows will still be somewhat
outdated.

I'm back! And, as ever, completely behind on mail. I haven't been
in-game since my return (I *hope* I remembered to put on my Leadership
Crown!! ;-), but I have gotten back into the groove a bit with a few updates
to the site. The update to the Masks
page that I began before I left town is now complete. In addition, I
revamped the Currency/Shopping
Bags page in the Shopping section with the new pyreal icon, a few links
to exchange rate sites, and information on the new Tusker Packs. Continuing
with the updates to the Bargains
section, I've added a page on Containers.

more Dark Majesty portal locations (currently inactive) added. Mud &
Golem Hearts (uses still unknown) added. Translated
Singular Notes added to the Texts section (thanks to Furby Hunter).
Newbie Templates update completed. Suggested
skills added, Bow Hunter stats changed, and Soldier graphics replaced with

Decorating page now has the complete inventory of the Apprentices'
wares. The locations and text of the three Furniture Crafters also added. Stuff

And last, but most certainly not least, my
wonderful vassal's Death Total and Loyalty stat have been updated. Death
Total up 60 to 1311! Loyalty up an entire point to 152!! I've got the
bestest vassal in all of Dereth! And that's saying something, because Dereth
just keeps on getting bigger! ;-)

More updates to the Quests section!
I've started transferring the new items from the Keep
Your Enemies Closer event page. Crystal
Sword, Diamond Shield and Soul
Staff added so far. Fabulous screenshots of items and creatures
included!
Continuing with the housekeeping of some of
the older areas of the site, I've started updating the Weapons pages in the Sports
section as I did with the Armor section. I've started with the Arrows
& Quarrels section, since all that required was some slight
rearrangement and tossing in a few links.
Real
Estate Guide updated with some Qalaba'r
dwellings. (Other pages of the guide may also have been added to.) Coordinates
page updated again with more submissions. I don't know about you, but my
legs are getting tired! ;-)

Yet two more Armor sections updated:
Girths and Greaves.
Thank goodness for Zenk's
Runway page, or I would barely have had any Greaves examples for the
Random Loot Generated Section! ;-) I also realized that although I had been
updating the elemental protections from the Changing
of the Ways metal armor love, I had forgotten the changed values and
burdens. I *knew* the Horned Helm burden was 666! Stats for the store-bought
armor on the previously updated pages have now been corrected.
I've also finally finished going through all
the email with housing coordinates. Real
Estate Coordinates page updated accordingly. If you don't see the
housing locations you sent in, please resend them. Thanks!

Finally, on my third attempt, I retrieved the Blood of the Hopeslayer
from the Remnants of Ilservian in the Sepulcher of the Hopeslayer! Thanks to
DaMonchary under Danier for the grand
adventure! Read about it in the Sword
of Lost Hope quest write-up! Includes fabulous
screenshots!
I've also started the long overdue updating
of the Armor section in response to
countless requests for cross-links to the Quest
section or the Crafters &
Collectors page. The quest/crafted items have been separated out, as
have the store-bought items. As before, I've still included a sampling of
the randomly generated items to show the wide variety of items available in
the game. Bracers, Breastplates,
Head and Shield
pages completed so far.
