It's back to an old project: Pets section updated with pics for the Banderlings. And for Mites!! I know I recently had someone send me a great pic of Gertahr, and it will be added, just as soon as I dig it up.

I've been reformed! The Letters section has been updated before the end of the month!! August Letters archived.

The Verdict patch page has also been updated with a few more pics and stats of the Harbinger battles. It also appears as though there are a few versions of the Harbinger. More details as they come in!

Elysa appears in Yanshi and opens portals to some level restricted dungeons. And finally, we meet the Harbinger!! I don't know about you, but I kept expecting it to burst into a song and dance routine. ;-) Find out more on the Verdict patch page!

As promised, the Gaerlan's Citadel quest page from the Verdict patch has been updated with more pics and stats of the new weapons. Right now you can see the Shield, Bow, Staff and Cestus (as well as the Robes and Wands from before). The write-up has also been cleaned up a bit. You'll also find links to two diagrams -- one of the Rolling Balls of Death by Sangre Fria of SC and one of the Floor Puzzle by Archmage Hunter of FF. Once again, thanks to everyone who keeps sending info in. More to come! :)

The Dereth Maps page was also updated with links to two new portal maps, one to Greeneye's new portal map over at AC Maps and one by Link from Hyrule of LC.

Finally, congratulations to my wonderful vassal, Ned Cleversun, who is now level 90!! His recent need for 8 more points towards his base bow skill has endangered tuskers everywhere. And has helped propel his mighty monarch (that's me ;-) to level 63!!

Yesterday, Linkmage and Seltor the Conquerer of HG reported that a group of PKs were defending the Core on HG and TD. Today, Queen Elysa steps in and gives the traitorous defenders 2 hours to stop their folly... or else face her might!

I know there's been a lack of updates lately. I've been home sick for the last few days, and have also been working on putting my AC2 site together. But I do have an update that's looonnngg overdue. Ned Cleversun's death total increases to 1492 and his loyalty increases three points to 157!! ;-) Congratulations to my vassal on reaching level 89 as well!

If it's not one thing, it's another. Thanks to a thunderstorm my modem got fried (even with a nice UPS thingie), just as I was coming upstairs to shut down the computer. But I'm back!

Thanks to Cyrano de Bergerac, I have a beyoooteeful set of purple Covenant armor! I can't quite wear it all yet, but after shaking off my perpetual elemental vitae and dumping some xp into my defenses, I'll be sporting it in no time! Thanks Cyrano!

And now... ta da! To stay the steady stream of email asking me when the heck I'm going to start my AC2 site, I've decided to go ahead and make the URL public. Introducing Maggie the Jackcat's Dereth Living - a guide to Asheron's Call 2. That's right! There's nothing there!! But there will be in the future, of course. More coming soon!! ;)

No, I will not be quitting AC when AC2 comes out and I will still update this site. *anticipates the next barrage of mail!* ;-)
