The State of the Network has been updated with downtimes for all servers (except TD and SC) on Oct 1.

The Privacy Policy, EULA, Code of Conduct and Terms of Service have also been updated. Ibn sends this comment along with the announcement: "I want to stress that, particularly with regards to the Code of Conduct, there are NO ENFORCEMENT CHANGES. Nothing that was previously permitted in-game is now a violation, nothing that was previously a violation is now permitted."

In other words, no new macro threads plz!! ;-)

In keeping with the vendor inventory updates, the Rumors and Texts sections have also been updated. All the literature sold by the various vendors should now be listed, along with where they may be purchased.

The rest of the Shopping Bargains have been updated. The Vendor Rates page (slow to load) has also been updated with the new rates. The list includes the vendor in each town with the reduced rate, added to torture fan site operators offer additional bargains!

The State of the Network has been updated with upcoming downtowns for database migrations and preparation for the billing changes. (See the Hardware Upgrades article for more information.)

I've been working on going through some of the backlog of submissions to the site. About 50 pics of Dungeons and Landmarks added to the Tourism section. Many other miscellaneous items also added and updated. If you still don't see your submission, it's coming soon! (Is 6 months old soon? ;-)

A few more vendor inventory types in the Shopping section have been updated: Lockpicks, Mana Stones and Alchemy Supplies!

I've finally gotten the recent vendor changes compiled. The first Inventory type to be updated is the Containers page! Find out which towns sell those cute colored baskets and belt pouches here!

Another Renegade quest has been cleaned up. Find out how to get a Lugian Horned Helm and an Ornate Breastplate here! A few more Noble Weapons added (thanks to Sondarian of WE for the missing Brace!) and K'rank's Errands cleaned up a bit.

Now that the site has made the move to a new home, I've been able to revise some of the outdated information. The Pets section has been updated with a more current version of Faile Bashere's Bandit Sight salvage and loot profiles. And don't forget; you can click on any of the salvage names on an individual creature page and see the top 10 creatures which drop that type of salvage!

I've continued to add bits and pieces to A Small Victory patch page, including more of the 5 globals from the Noble Weapons quest. If you don't see your name in lights yet, send me an email and I'll get you added! Free experience, Al-Jalima updates, another Blackmire quest, an unusually large moon, errands to run, quest updates, and a head on a stick! I think this just might be the best patch ever!!

Another of the Renegade quests from the Pillars Made of Sand event has been revised into a full write-up. Find out how to get the Renegade Herbal Kit & Stone Clasp here!

Many of you have written asking when the routing feature will be back online. Now that the hosting move is complete (except for a few remaining kinks), you can once again go to any entry in the Tourism section and use the "click for route" feature for a pop-up shortcut to your destination. Thanks to Arboc of SC for getting it running again!

Update: Turbine has posted an update on the Billing Migration. You can find it here! Also two sites were accidentally sent the same exclusive pic, so Ibn sent me a new one to replace the duplicate. You can find it in the patch section here

Once again, I've outgrown my hosting. You may experience some down time for the site over the next few days as thejackcat.com moves to its new home. I apologize for having possible downtime over a holiday weekend, but I wanted to make sure that things were up and running for the tentative patch day scheduled for next week.

Finally, I've added my pics to the ACPL write-up page! I had intended to caption some of them, as is my custom, but I've been too busy and figured I had better get them up anyway. I just want you to know; if I didn't skewer you with a cruel caption this year, it doesn't mean that I don't love you! ;-) A link to Yoshi's write-up also added.
