The Dev Updates page has been updated with the latest from the Turbine team, including the extended downtime planned for Wednesday, Oct. 5th. Turbine has also published another Live Event summary. You can find it on the Turbine site here, or in the patch section here! Toys Mage of FF also sends a pic of his encounter with Mr P here!

The Rares page has finally been updated! Thanks to everyone who sent in missing pics!! I'm sorry it took me so long to get them up! I've added about 15 items, including the first reported Hieroglyph and the rare armor, Adept's Favor!

Update: The Live Events page was updated with a DT report and a link to this month's Turbine Events Write-Ups. Read about the Trivia Challenge and Mr. P.!

Thanks to everyone who sent in info for the Under Cover of Night patch page! If anyone has a good creature asses skill, I'm still missing lots of creature stats and action shots (in the wild, not just on stats panel). Per request, I've updated the quest page with the quests from the last two patches and indicated which ones require ToD. If you see any mistakes, please send me an email! Many of the quests are still in draft form, but I'll be buffing and fluffing them as I have time. The first to receive an update is the Hunter Kill Tasks. The new ML Kill Tasks are included; however the Deep kill tasks still need to be added once all the info rolls in.

Ultra loot love; Blackmire Armor dye; the Leviathan; new creatures; a new island; chat, chat and more chat (maybe even too much chat! ;-); betrayal; rebels; and fancy schmancy head gear. If only I weren't still so ugly, this would be the best patch ever!!

It's patch day! Yay! I'll be updating the Under Cover of Night patch page throughout the day as I'm able. Just a reminder that screenshots are now found in the My Documents/Asheron's Call folder on your computer. If you'd like to send a submission, please include full examine panel for stats, live action poses, and don't forget your in-game name and server!!

Rollout Article and Dev Notes are now up on the Turbine Site or in the patch section here and here!

Update from HG: Angeni has slain the mighty Leviathan. The portal to Vissidal Isle has opened.

See the Gateway to the Deep quest for ongoing reports! For the servers still working on the quest, please grab some pics of the critters before you kill them all! ;-)

The Under Cover of Night patch section has been updated with the Event Teaser along with 2 exclusive teaser pics!!

In addition, I've compiled the daily updates and put them all in one location. If you don't want to weed through the Devtracker on the Turbine boards, you can get caught up here! I'll be making these a permanent addition to the patch sections each month. The Turbine Events write-ups have also been compiled in one location and have been linked from the Live Events page. You can find them all here!

The September Letter to the Players has been posted! You can find it in The Cover of Night patch section here! Patch day is tentatively scheduled for this Wednesday.

Another Live Event has been added to the events page, thanks to Mustafah Ibn-Jubair of FF! The defeat of the Galvanic Knight yielded a full suit of armor as a reward!

Turbine has announced another double xp weekend starting tonight at 9PM EST and going through Monday at 6PM EST to make up for the server down time yesterday! In addition, they'll be hosting more live events next week with xp rewards.

I'm back! Sorry for the lapse in updates lately. Real life is keeping me busy, plus I had a few computer glitches that required the dreaded hard drive reformatting (what a pain). My mail server was also down on Labor Day, so if anyone sent email to the Maggie@thejackcat.com address on Monday, I likely didn't receive it. Everything should be working fine now (*crosses fingers*)!

There's more news on the Turbine front. The Live Events have started back up! Zerono of HG sent in a report today which you can find it on the Live Events page here! If you're lucky enough to participate in a live event, don't forget to send your report and screenshots in! Turbine is also publishing accounts of the events on their web site. You can find their first entry here!

For updates on the September patch (which *may* still make it in Sept.), keep in eye on the Dev Tracker. Calandryll has been posting daily updates about the goings-on. In a generous gesture, Turbine is not only covering housing rent for the foreseeable future, but also the billing for those in hurricane affected states!

The AC live team is still in transition, but we have a few more bits of info. Scenario is staying with the company, but moving to LOTRO. We do appear to be keeping at least one AC familiar Dev, however! Crowley will be making the move back east and staying on for the time being. I'd also like to post a welcome to Frelorn, the new AC Community Relations person!

Last, I *still* haven't gotten all the patch submissions up! If I don't have them up by the end of the weekend, you should FIRE ME! ;-)
