Thanks to everyone who helped
me celebrate my wonderful vassal's achievement of reaching level 80! A
lot of Tuskers sacrificed their lives to make this event a success. As I
state on my home page, the site wouldn't even exist if it weren't for my
vassal, Ned Cleversun. From some of the strong feelings expressed to me
in your letters, I am more aware than ever of how much you enjoy Maggie
the Jackcat's Kick-Ass Fabulous AC Web Site. I'm so pleased that I was
able to give you all the opportunity to get to know the man who helped
make it all happen just a little bit better. Below are some of the letters I received from my regular visitors: the amused, the confused, the angry, the indignant. As more came in each day, patterns began to emerge. I've separated a sampling of them out into different types. I left out a couple of categories: the begging, the crying, the pleading. And actually, I was just a little bit disappointed that there weren't more attempts at outright bribery! ;-) I couldn't possibly publish all the letters I received, but truly, I enjoyed them all. Even the ones that were so surly they could only have been written by (yes, you guessed it) that dastardly "Anonymous." And if I seem to be poking a little fun at some of you by publishing a few of these, please remember: it doesn't mean that I don't love you! The Amused I thought someone was pulling my leg when they told me that you had
completely revamped your website to be an "homage" to your vassal. I had to
check it out for myself. (I hadn't played much lately thus I didn't have
much need to read the latest from The Jackcat) I have just been perusing the
site. I can't even think about playing AC now, my eyes are filled with
tears from laughing so hard... ah, to be the all-important vassal to my
monarch :-P ********** funny! :) K'os of HG ********** BWHAAHAHAHA Ripshaw of LC ********** Maggie you're a gem! I love Ned and I hope when he makes 90 you're still his
patron. My favorite was the Ale Mugs, Pizza and Ned passed out on the
couch. ********** In an obvious play on Ned's name, all I can say is very Clever, very clever.
Love the Ned stuff and even got 6 correct on his quiz. ********** I do so love your site. I surfed on over today to check out info on statues and found the best laugh I've had all day. I have no idea who Ned Cleversun is, and I don't care - Thanks JackCat, and thank you Ned, whoever you are... Sweeet of TD ********** It is sooo funny!!! I like the portal ties part! Almost as funny is that some of my fellow allegiance members are
complaining about how you changed the site. ********** Maggie, Gafoon of HG ********** I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard! ********** Thank you for the amount of time you have spent on your site, it has
certainly helped both myself and many
of my followers in asheron's call. Benjamin ********** I got a real kick out of your site's makeover homage to Ned. I read through
every page and followed every link, and laughed out loud several times. ********** What you have done with your site if the funniest thing I have seen since the Morningthaw Mockery, and quite frankly A LOT funnier. Heh, ever since I starting using your web site, oh about 5 months ago, it has been ok, good info etc. etc. But let me tell you, this site is better than ever! holds tons of useful and informative information that we all enjoy
regularly, but now it has wholesome entertainment as well. cyber warrior II of WE ********** Ok Maggie enough is enough! I was hitting all my
normal boards which includes yours looking to glean
new AC info, the page popped up as usual
and I began to click the customary new stuff link to find that it did
not refresh or so I thought. What the...? Then I read
the title and began to put it together. NED NED NED
everywhere I look its Ned in my face. I started to
laugh and kept laughing until my side hurt. I began to
think of all those AC people that rely on your site
daily for hints and tips, this only made me laugh
more. Then my boss walked by...Oops...uh...yes
sir...right away sir... he walked off and I flipped
the page back open. Whoooo that was close. Good thing
my aim is good at hitting the minimize button. Ned
almost blew my cover. Your killin me... still giggle
once in a while when I am digging through your site

stuff. ********** Heyas, Helpful Suggestion! Hi Maggie, I'm a huge fan of your quest guide! Although
I'm sure your vassal
is a really nice guy I'm sorry to say that his insight and his wisdom doesn't
cut it for me. I think that you are much more suited to be the hero of the
site. Please come back! I think that Ned would be quite pleased just to
have his little corner on your site. Ned Cleversun says, no, he would not. ;-) It Was Fun While It Lasted I am a regular visitor of your site and noticed that you made it a "tribute"
to all the powerlevelers out there. Hopefully you have the old site still
there and will, after you feel you've made your point, change it back, but
if you don't that's cool also. ********** I popped into your site just to see what's
new, and I saw the change. Must ********** Does this mean you won't be covering any new information, did we lose the jackcat? If we did, you were awesome while it lasted. goomba of MT ********** Maggie: I used to love your website. It was an absolute gold

I have been using your page as my home page when I log on the net. I think it was one of the best pages dedicated to AC I have ever seen. Much great information was on hand for the AC enthusiasts. Now I must find a new page for home and work. Nobody cares about Ned. This new site is a waste of time. Zinra of WE ********** Sweet god, why would you devote your site to him? It was with great amusement that I looked though the Ned pages. A bow
skill of 340 is actually not bad, but tell Ned that when he gets into the

While I should have long ago thanked
you for all your information I am lazy and never did. But the site to your
vassal is even more amazing to me than an information site. That must have taken a lot of work but I think it was
wonderful. I just wanted you to know that I think that was a very sweet and
tremendous thing to do. ********** Aren't vassals like that the coolest? I'm level 45, and have a vassal that
is level 55 and rising rapidly. (however that also means that he's not
passing all of his classes...) He lives next door to me in-game AND in the
dorms IRL. Last time I checked he earned me somewhere around 13 million or
or something, and I don't have leadership! Pizzadude II of WE ********** Um... Ms. Jackcat.. All I can say is that you've really earned that high Agent Whatever-My-Name-Was-Again of FF |
