Terminology

Buff or Buffing -
Casting spells on yourself, equipment, or another player to increase stats or abilities.

Camping -
Waiting at a respawn point or at a chest to pick off the new monsters or loot as they regenerate over and over.

Click -
A unit of distance measurement. 86.0N to 87.0 N is one click. Example: "It was a 5 click run to the lifestone."

Mule -
A secondary character designed for expertise in specific skills, such as Alchemy or Fletching, or a secondary character used to store spare items for a player's main character.

Nerf -
Weakening of a skill or spell during an update to balance the game.

Powerlevel -
Getting your character to the highest level in the shortest amount of time.

Twinking -
Giving low level characters super equipment, giving them abilities far above their level.

Vitae -
Life Force. When you die, you get a vitae penalty which reduces your primary attributes and skills by 5%. As you earn experience, your vitae penalty is worked off.
