Heal Kits |
|
If you have the Healing Skill, you can use Heal Kits to restore health. Like
some of the trade skills, the heal skill has a skill check (the number at
which you have a 50% chance of success). The higher your skill, the higher
your chances of success. Use a better kit to add a bonus to your heal kill.
The formula to determine the skill check uses your remaining health to
calculate your chances. For best results, use a kit before your health gets
less than 1/2 capacity.
You can purchase heal kits from vendors
or pick them up as loot from many creatures. In addition, many of the
Crafters on Marae Lassel will give you heal kits in exchange for various
items, such as Carenzi Pelts, Siraluun Claws, and Golem Hearts. Treated Heal
Kits were introduced during the
Springs
Sorrow event as rewards for turning in
Mnemosynes. During the
Dark
Majesty event, they also became available as rewards for Olthoi Pincers
& Claws, Vapor Golem Hearts, and Yellow Virindi Jewels. (See the
Marae
Lassel Crafters and Collectors page.) Plentiful
Healing Kits are given as a rare reward from the Healer's Wish statue in the
Bobo Quest,
introduced in the
Halls of
the Tusker King event. The
Renegade
Herbal Kit is a quest reward introduced during
Pillars
Made of Sand.

Quest or Crafted Potions |
Skilled tradespeople can also
make potions using the
Alchemy skill.
Many quests also give potions as rewards, including the Academy Training
quest which has its own special potions, and the Newbie quests. Various
trophies can also be turned in to
Crafters
and Collectors for Potions, such as Banderling Scalps, Swamp Stones,
Skeleton Skulls, Armoredillo Spines and Rat Tails. The Obsidian Enchanter in
Samsur will also give you a Potion of Black Fire in exchange for an Obsidian
Jewel.

Services |
|
Services are spells which can
be purchased from Healers. Lower level players without magic may choose to
purchase low level buffs. Or baby mages may get a boost while learning their
spells. Dispels come in handy when you've been hit with debuffs and you
don't have any
Dispel
Gems handy. For a list of vendors who sell Services, click
here. |

Fountains |
Fountains, vats and wells can be found
scattered throughout Dereth. When you double-click on them, they cast a
spell on you. The most prevalent fountain is a Revitalize Fountain which
restores stamina. They can also be used with empty flasks.
Description:
Use an empty flask on the [item] to fill it with water.
3 Kegs appeared on Ulgrim's Island during
A Swelling
Tide event. When used they restore health, stamina or mana! |
