Zenk - Level 68
Zenk was good-looking before, but with my GeForce2 and wearing a striking white dress, why, she's even more beautiful! I'm sad to say, however, that "Where She Is Now" may not be "Where She Was When I Took These Pics!" ;-) It's actually been weeks and weeks (ok... months) since I met her in Glendon Wood to see what she'd been up to. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that she's several levels above the stats pictured below.
She said that she hoped I didn't mind that she was only wearing some junk armor she had found on the ground. She had muled her Halloween costume and had forgotten to grab her armor! My ears perked up! Halloween costume??
Ha. I loved the outfit! And so did others, it seems. Zenk actually won TWO Dereth Costume contests! As a prize she won a pyreal ingot, some crystal nodules, food, and some magic toys. A pile of cool food, like chocolate and hearty pies. Yummy!! She said she was still looking for that Flaming Trident, but that the bugs hadn't coughed one up yet for her.
In the meantime, she'll have to be satisfied with her Peerless Atlan Staff of Black Fire! Zenk's been hanging out quite a bit on the Island, doing the Aerlinthe quest again and again with groups of folks. She finally got her prize after taking down the Behemoth. It's hard to see in the pic, but the Staff puts off a shadowy glow around the stone. I told her she'd have to give me a tour in a few years when I'm high enough level to join them! ;)
Someone asked if she was still doing the "Win Zenk's Loot" game. She'd go hunting then do a 20 questions game and give away stuff in town to the people who got the answers right. What is the AL of this heaume? What are the spell words for Sprint Self I? Her best question was, "What Rank am I?" Uh... uh... Luckily I was let off the hook by Pitt who chimed in with the answer (Rank 4)! Unfortunately, Zenk stopped the game when some ingrates got upset because she wasn't giving away AL: 400 stuff! Silly fools! Back to store bought Chain for you!
When I had done her original Runway shoot she had just taken Crossbow. She posed for me with her Composite Crossbow above. She said she snapped a pile of strings before having success. We talked a bit more about the other Atlan stones and my own success with the Frost stone after my humiliating failure with the jumps for the Fire stone. Zenk's base Jump skill is 290! She made the Lighthouse jump and lived to tell about it! But then she tried it from the ocean side and went *splat*. Seems as though the ocean side is much harder, although the view is better! ;-) As we talked, Pitt began to buff Zenk. Pitt says, "Malar Cazael" Thanks for sharing your adventures, Zenk!
